Great product, not-so-great delivery
My contractor recommended this flooring, and it looks fantastic! Easy for him to install, moisture, scratch and fade proof, we love it. However, I paid for threshold delivery, only to have them put the boxes on an 18-wheeler that couldn't really fit in our condo parking lot. We had to carry the boxes in ourselves. They would have fit in a small pickup truck easily and we aren't young and strong anymore...not fun and not what I paid for!

Foolproof. Avoid the Plus version.
We've used this grout for approximately 600 square feet of natural slate tile, walls and floors and stairs. It's been easy to use and very forgiving of us as DIYers. We mix it a bit on the thin side so it stays workable longer. Dry is difficult; wet is best. It's quick to dissolve, the color is even, and it's NOT FAST DRYING. (Tile DIYers should search for a video on youtube regarding the warning against using fast/quick/rapid-setting grout; it's to be avoided at all costs.) We gave up on fancy grout from tile stores after having FIVE times received fast-drying grout when we specifically asked for SLOW-drying grout. This stuff, which is--thank goodness--NOT fast drying, lets you work with it for quite a while after putting it in. We could install a quarter- or 1/5th-bag batch and then go back and press it in and smooth it, even though we are slow. We were able to use a damp sponge to manipulate the shape for about an hour after initially putting it in. The haze wipes off easily with a microfiber cloth. FYI, we accidentally got a bag of the Polyblend Plus at one point in the stairs project and, for reasons unknown, was absolutely unable to make it work for us. I wrote a separate 1-star review on the Plus version; however, this version of Polyblend has been great.

    Bathroom Tile Grout
This did the job for my floor. It turned out very nice with my tile. Nice light and dark contrast.

      Easy to use!!
All you do is add water and mix and the grout is ready to go. Ideal for use for joints ranging from 1/8” to 1/2”, polyblend is my go to grout on all my tiling jobs. Install is easy using a grout float and use a wet sponge to help shape the grout lines

      Garbage product
Im a professional contractor and used this grout in my house. I mixed it exactly per directions for the proper amount of time and with the exact recommended amount of water. The grout looked to be the correct color "natural gray" when it was applied. However it dried almost white and its incredibly splotchy. I now get to regrout or attempt to stain my hexagon tiles to try and salvage the floor. Dont waste your time with this substandard product. Its absolute garbage.

        Dries to a different color!
When mixed it was the perfect color then it dried to an almost white color. And I know it was done correctly. Will never buy from this brand again.

It stained my porcelain tiles . Very difficult to remove its Haze from the tiles. I spent a lot of money on cleaning products and several hours trying to remove the Haze and I was not able to. I must hire a company to remove the Haze. I am hoping the company will be able to remove the Haze . This will cost me more money.

          Easy for a DIYer
I used this for a large basement tile project (my first) and had no issues. I over-scrubbed in some areas which washed out some of the pigment but with variegated tile it was not a big deal. If you haven't grouted before and consistency in color is a must have, I would recommend hiring a pro to do your grout. I followed up with 511 sealer and the grout cleans up easily.

This is one of my favorite products, and not least of which is actually using it as intended, for grout lines. My wife and I used this to repair the outside of our foundation where concrete has chipped off, and in some cases exposing rebar that had rusted. While the package says it is not really made (not guaranteed for more than about a 1/2" coat, at most, it was actually a good product to use on vertical indentations up to ONE INCH in depth. Now, I would recommend not making it to soupy, and a bit firmer. Secondly, and this was a fantastic project that this ended up being the perfect product for, and that was for an entire wall of brick that we chose to fill in all the very deep mortar grout lines between the bricks that constituted a fireplace wall. We also coated all the bricks with a thin coat of this grout to make the whole job look like virtually a stucco wall. It looks gorgeous! We used 13 bags of grout for that job (big, long wall with deep mortar channels). We did two coats. Of course, we sponged the surface to the intent and look we wished. Then painted it afterward. Also, we put porcelain tile down on the hearth over the bricks there and used a different color grout as intended to fill in the 1/16" inch grout lines. Never had a problem when used as instructed. Love this product.

            Bags labeled with wrong color
I bought a bag of alabaster and applied it to my brick veneer wall. It looked gray as I was applying it but I read it dries much lighter, so didn't think much of it. My husband ran to home Depot to grab another identical bag (same type, color, upc)- we mixed it up (exactly the same way) and I started to apply and realized this wet grout was WHITE. The 1st bag of grout was now dry on half the wall and it was still completely gray- so we spent 3 hours grinding out the gray grout. This also stained my brick gray- at least $200 worth of material ruined. I bought 8 bags total of the grout (all labeled alabaster) and after pulling samples from each bag, 3 of the 8 were gray-- Completely mislabeled. I brought it to the attention of the Home Depot manager and he did nothing, didn't even pull the bags off the shelf. The company "custom building products" won't answer the customer service number or reply to my email, so I'm going to BBB to be reimbursed for my damaged brick.

              Different colors
I bought Earth color grout. The color is not consistent at all. Some of it is actual advertised color, most of it is very light and some almost white. It just doesn’t look right. Fortunately it goes well with the multi colored tile I have.

Inconsistent grout color. Contractor had to re-grout several tiles to try to get a more uniform color. It was way off - spots looked wet or dirty. Second contractor to tell me about this problem. Pic shows one problem area - there were several others.

We purchased 30+ bags of this grout in Linen from multiple Home Depot stores last summer (2018) to grout our 750 Sq. Ft. pebble-stone tile patio. Since the qty needed was not available in a single lot number we combined equal amounts of each lot number and mixed per instructions using chilled distilled water and applied it to the patio per the instructions. One issue we found immediately was color consistency. Despite our best efforts color variance is obvious. This season we decided to add an enhancer/sealer. While cleaning in prep for the sealer we noticed multiple fine cracks in many areas of the patio. We've tried contacting the manufacturer via their 24 hr response page asking about possible causes and corrections but they have not yet replied. We are now in 'limbo' not knowing what to do.

This grout worked extremely well for me... being my first time tiling! The only problem is that the mixing instructions only address using the full 25 lbs. - which (I found out later) was twice as much as I needed. If you need to mix smaller amounts you'll just have to go by consistency as when mixing thinset.

I returned the pre-sealed expensive grout in order to get this kind due to all the poor reviews. I was not disappointed. This worked amazing and after doing two coats of sealing I have no worries that the grout will stay white for a long time.

Used this with large format "wood look" floor tiles for kitchen/family room project, and also for a project covering up a rough brick fireplace with a large format slate veneer. Worked great for both projects with excellent color uniformity from bag to bag. Mixed a bit thick for vertical surface projects, and stayed in place and adhered to the edges of tile very well. Relative to other sanded grouts, this seems to clean up very easily even from rough tile surfaces.
