It's a nice novel idea, however falls short of expectations for the price. As you can see from the photos, I had to fasten duct tap to hold the cut angle. It's accuracy is nowhere near a miter fence you could buy for your saw. Made in China...poor quality.

Whether you know what you are doing or have no clue, this makes crown molding cuts effortless. Simply watch the DVD and you're a pro. Everyone should own one of these.

It was great for oak crown molding

Turns out it is a very poor method to cut c down molding.

This is a much needed tool to do any crown molding. I wasted a $100.00 trying to cut the crown molding the old way . I try it and it takes the quest work out of it .

The Milescraft Crown 45 crown molding jig made easy work of cutting crown molding. Simple to use and allows user to cut molding as you see it, no flipping it over to make the cut. Very pleased and recommended.

Worked well and as expected. Only minor issue was the angle finders which were a bit wonky. But a useful, well engineered tool for its purpose.

This jig put my crown molding on the saw in a way that I could visualize & understand the cut. None of this "upside down, backwards ans inside out stuff" to deal with.

This jig takes all of the guesswork out of cutting crown molding. Extremely easy to use and provided fantastic results!

I should have bought one a long time ago! It makes it so much easier to properly cutting crown molding. Cutting in the same orientation as it goes on the wall, no flipping required.

In the beginning, I had a difficult time holding/bracing crown molding between the miter fence and Crown 45. I would recommend some bracing device that could assist in maintaining the proper angle during the cutting process.
