Great tool box. Had one just like it on my previous truck, so bought one again. Good and sturdy. Really like the low profile so it doesn't block any of the view out the rear window. Would have rated it Excellent, but the parts tray won't clear the lock and slide all the way across. (Not HD's fault, of course.) The previous one did. Still waiting on the manufacturer to get back to me with recommendations.

Tool box was super easy to assemble. We did it in the parking lot! The latches seemed to be of really good quality!

I returned the box the day I picked it up. When I was ready to mount it in my truck, I tried sliding the tool tray from side to side and it bumps into the lock mechanism on each side. So the tray wouldn't get within arms reach of either side and stayed in the middle of the box. I could have modified it, but that didn't seem appropriate on a new box. I was also not thrilled with the shiny black finish so I took it back. Spend a few dollars more on a UWS and the difference in construction is phenomenal. Talk to one of their dealers, because the 69" UWS I bought doesn't show up on their website and was way less than the 72" that does and fits my '17 Ram fine.

I previously owned this delta champion ( dc) tool box years ago and had it for several yrs and was very durable. The aluminum felt thicker and more durable and a bit more resistant to getting tools and stuff dropped in and out of it.It was beat by the daily use of it but did hold up very well Which is why i decided to go with another dc toolbox. I was a bit dissappointed when i received this toolbox. For the money, the quality felt like it dropped. The aluminum on the sides and bottom feels thinner. came with a bunch of noticeable scratches. To me it will just be used to beat up anyway but am concerned that it wont hold up. it feels as though the bottom will begin to bend overtime with the same tools i used in the other one. I hope i am wrong and this dc toolbox holds up as great as the other one did. gave it a 4 star however bc the lid feels as the same quality and is sealed tight against weather elements. looks nice and had no problems with the lid shutting on both sides. also the included tray feels durable. comes with j-hooks to hold toolbox down which is ok. still plan to drill into truck. i really hope this toolbox holds up but certainly was not gona spend money on weatherguard toolbox.

Will this fit a 2013 dodge ram 1500 tradesman? Also, what is required to install this item?

The box arrived a week ahead of its due date and exceeded all expectations. Looks great and operates flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Visibility when driving is much better than standard box. Black looks good with my black truck. There are some minor finish flaws at the corners-this is why it only gets 4 stars. I will touch up to prevent damage.
