I purchased my countertop dishwasher the the Athletic Training room at my school. We use it to clean and sanitize the water bottles after each use. We have seen a significant decrease in the passage of virus from one athlete to another since starting the use. The larger inside space fits the water bottles very easily. I can wash 3 sets at a time with extra space. Best purchase I made in preventing the spread of viruses.

Great dishwasher, perfect for the 2 of us.
Love this dishwasher! Boyfriend bought adapters to hook it up direct to water n drain so it could sit on a shelf under my countertop. They shoud include that option and then I would give it a 5 star.

I'm so happy with this model, I had no issues setting it up or since. It has 6 setting along with a delay start and cleans dishes really well. The only thing I would say to be aware of are the shipping box is huge and if you're picking up from a store it may not fit in a small car.

For a small countertop dish washer it does what was expected. It is larger then anticipated, not something that is able to move around the kitchen easly. I picked a spot for the dish on the counter next to the sink and it stays there. I had it for 2 mo and it's good so far.

I bought this countertop dishwasher for my mom because her kitchen cabinets would take too much retrofitting to put in a built-in dishwasher. The positives: the dishwasher is quieter than I expected. It is easy to operate and holds a surprising amount of dishes and cutlery. There are settings for different kinds of washing and the manual tells you how much water and energy each setting uses, which settings do a pre-wash with cold water, pre-wash with hot water, etc. The adapters for the water hoses are very easy to attach. I cannot say that it cleans well because my dishwasher arrived broken; the swing arm won't swing all the way around and so only one quadrant of the basket gets washed. The negatives: There needs to be a note on the packaging that it is really hard to open the dishwasher the first time, because the factory ships it out sealed. I thought I was going to break the door getting it open. The machine is big and doesn't fit under my mom's wall cabinets (which I thought were at a standard height.) You'll need to have lots of counter space and not too far from the sink. The water hoses smell strongly like rubber or plastic chemicals. When the hot water is running out of the hose, they smell even more. The attachment to the faucet looks kind of cheap and works only "OK". When you attach the quick connect to the faucet, there is a tiny bit of movement in the mechanism and the whole adapter don't sit perfectly vertical (might not bother you, but it bothers me). The pressure release valve is phenomenally hard to release. The hoses need to be longer and they twist and tense up so you have this mass of tight hose that wants to dangle in your sink. It is an ugly look. My dishwasher seems to have arrived broken and the rotating arm doesn't rotate all the way and gets stuck under the dish basket. I emailed SPT Customer Service about the issue 4 days ago but have not heard back from them. Points off for Customer Service. I do not look forward to returning the dishwasher to Home Depot, as it is really heavy, in addition to being a clumsy shape for lifting. Be advised that the box and instructions state two people are needed for lifting. I didn't have anyone to help me so I had some problem-solving in order to lift it up on the counter by myself without tipping it on its side. The three-star rating is mostly because this isn't at all a plug and play dishwasher and my frustration factor has been really high since purchasing it. If you have a high tolerance for problem-solving, then give it a try!

The dishwasher is all its advertised and more. Easy out of the box, no assembly required just hooking up the hoses and installing the nozzle on your faucet and its ready to go. There is alot more room than we thought there would be. Perfect for us empty nesters with very few dishes.

    Perfect for my Tiny Apartment
I have a 400 square ft apartment and NO counterspace. This little guy fit neatly in the corner next to my sink, overlapping one side of my sink by a few inches. It actually ends up giving me more space to store things on top of now. As far as it's dishwashing abilities, it's a dream. I honestly love it so much and recommend it to anyone with limited space who hates washing dishes by hand

This dishwasher was not to my satisfaction. It did not clean dishes. Even after going through 3xs. I had it 3 weeks and gave up on it.

        Frustrating.
I was so excited to get this hooked up and wash my first load of dishes only to have them all come out dirty. The spray arm can't even spin freely when it's empty, it hits the rack and gets stuck and stays there the whole cycle. Very disappointing to buy something brand new and have it arrive unusable.

My family purchased this dishwasher for our little house, after years of washing dishes by hand. It fit nicely on our counter so we didn't have to do any major installing, and it worked great. No complaints at all. I would recommended it to anyone who is looking for a countertop dishwasher.

            EXCELLENT!
I bought mine slightly used, but if I had the $$$, I would pay full price. I used to work on commercial dishwashers, so I know quality when I see it, and I see it with this brand. The design is well thought out, and after using it for a few months, I can't think of much I can say against it. There are a couple of caveats - silverware must be leaning toward the back so as not to interfere with the detergent lid fully opening; same with plates, they must be loaded with the top of the plate facing to the right, so they lean into more of a face down position, tilted right, to avoid interfering with the opening of the detergent lid. The diameter of a dinner plate may be a factor with this. I have loaded filthy dishes into this that come out sparkling clean. I have checked on this unit to make sure it's running, I can barely hear it in the next room. I turned mine into a portable by placing on top of a cart with wheels, but found no place to put the hose assembly; so I took a metal bracket that comes with mini-blinds to support the center of the blind, and attached it to the back of the dishwasher using one of the existing panel screws. That gave me a means of keeping the hoses from leaking onto the floor. If you place this on a counter permanently, you should make sure the hoses are fully drained before placing them behind the unit, or keep the attachment section high enough so it won't leak. Again, kudos to the manufacturer!! Great design!!

              Hardworking little machine
I'm so glad I bought this. I've had this for a little over 2 weeks and run it about every other day to keep piles of dirty dishes at bay. Be sure to check the measurements and find a flat surface big enough for it that is both close to a sink and a grounded outlet. The directions specify you CANNOT use an extension cord. It was super easy to hookup, just follow directions carefully. Based on other reviewers tips, if I'm awake and around when it finishes the cycle, I open the door to help items air dry a bit before putting them away. Generally I rinse all food off and run dishes on the normal cycle, loaded according to the manual's recommendations. It's always managed to get everything squeaky clean. But last night I tested it on pots and pans with one pan with lots of dried chocolate stuck to it. It successfully cleaned it, as well as everything else! Hope that it continues to run successfully for a long time to come. Highly recommend for small apartment. Saves me SO much time over handwashing each little thing.

                Really disappointed. :(
I was so excited when I bought this dishwasher, but was disappointed when it started leaking within a couple months. Now I have to go through all the trouble of returning it or getting it fixed.

                SPT Countertop Dishwasher
Living in a small apartment there is no space for a full sized dishwasher. Two great things about this dishwasher is I can use it in the apartment and take it with me if I move. It works great with one small exception. The carriage ride low and the arm will hit it especially if there is much in the carriage. I have tried to adjust the wheels and it seems to be operating perfectly now. I will say that the color is silver and silver does not mean stainless steel. But the color is close to the color of stainless. The only reason I didn't give is five stars is the issue of washer arm catching on the carriage and having to adjust it which was not difficult but I did need to run it a few times to be certain it was working properly.

                great product
This is a great product! It's a great size and is so quiet compared to what I expected. At a very fair price, you couldn't ask for a better clean. Shipping and shopping were easy and easy to track, and it arrived as expected. I bought this because I have an apartment with a small kitchen(in which it fits nicely). Would definitely recommend this to any single person or small family.

                  What took me so long?
My husband has been after me for years to get a portable dishwasher. I finally broke down and started looking at them and found this countertop model. It is just the right size for my husband and I. It hooks up easily and washes like a dream.

                  Perfect for a small kitchen
With no space to install a conventional dishwasher I was looking for a solution which was portable, looked good and did a good job of washing dishes, This was perfect in all respects.
