Not quite the color you would expect... but it is good earthy tones and plays well with surroundings. Was a bit surprised by the size. This could be a garage for average size mailboxes. I mounted it on a rather substantial Walpole pole/base so its size is well balanced. It is a heavy piece of steel. Couple complaints are the door is heavy and drops open bouncing hard on the hinges at the bottom of the swing. I think given a little time the hinges or their bolts would fatigue and the door would start to come off. I put some foam and rubber, out of sight, that softens the door's drop as it is opened. The base/floor of the box is recessed up underneath. Meaning the sides front and back extend about an inch and a half lower than the floor. I had to build up the arm of the mailbox post to reach up inside the bottom to meet the floor. This was a small issue. The wife is a bit picky and she thinks it looks great so it probably is. I have notice other boxes rusting, so I will treat with silicone to prevent this from happening. I hope this lasts years but all depends on kids with bats, snow plows, distracted mailmen and my wife's elderly aunt who has trouble staying on the driveway.. and me and my lawnmower.

Very well constructed
I was very pleased when our new mail box arrived. The quality was very good and exceeded my expectations. The size is larger than many I've seen and would fit a small package nicely.
