Before I purchased these doors, I was trying to justify the cost, but I made the purchase anyway and I am happy I did. I believe I can attribute the high cost for these doors to the time, effort and materials it takes to ensure these doors arrive in good condition. Keep in mind, these doors are large, 48x96 inches each, and they arrived in pristine condition thanks to the excellent packing materials used and the custom pallet they were shipped on. Installation was easy and we are very pleased.

Photos speak for themselves. I needed doors that were exactly 96” in height and these have been an absolute nightmare for me. I am basically paying what they cost again to have a handyman come up with a suitable workaround for my space. Not worth the effort and glad that thankfully HD was willing to give me a refund. No idea why they are allowing such an awful misrepresentation on their website!

My daughter has been very happy with these doors on her closet. It's been two months and they are holding up nicely. I scratched the white frame of one of them during install, but she didn't even say anything about it. If I had had help to carry them, I don't think I would have scratched it. I am 5'7" and was *almost* able to install the 96" tall doors by myself (but only because I didn't have room to turn around and had to have my son hold the door while moved some furniture out of the way). Helpful tip #1: I watched the "how to install" video on the manufacturer's website a few times before I even purchased these doors, just to make sure I'd feel comfortable taking on the project myself. This was helpful, but I should have also looked at the instructions that came with it because the first time I installed the lower track, I hadn't measured correctly (it is offset from where you'd think it should go, or at least mine needed to go in a different spot than the one I was replacing). Helpful tip #2: The wheels are withdrawn into the casing for shipping and the instructions say to extend the wheels (using a screwdriver in the back of the roller casing) a certain amount before mounting the door. Don't skimp on extending, because if your wheels don't stick out far enough, your door will scrape along the rail and you'll be trying to adjust that screw with the weight of the door resting on it. Ask me how I know? Helpful tip #3: I had to buy a longer railing and cut it to fit my opening. The employee at the store offered some great advice, which I will pass along to you with a photo. When cutting the top rail piece, use Styrofoam inserts to support the sides of the aluminum in the miter box while you cut. This keeps the aluminum from wiggling and reduces your frustration. I had some Styrofoam from a different project that I was able to cut to fit, but there is a bit of foam that came with my doors that I could have used. You could probably use scrap wood, but it would take more effort than foam if you're using a hand-powered saw. Helpful tip #4: If you are using a power saw, the teeth will go in smoothly on one side and come out roughly on the other side, so make sure you line up your cut so that the smoother side will face into the room and the rougher side will face into the closet (also a tip from the employee, but I didn't use a power saw).

Picked up doors at HD, packages were in good condition and all parts were received. Immediately assembled hardware and inserted doors, to find that the fit was outrageously out of square. At firstsuspecting that it was a matter of adjustment, due to out of square door frame (which it was slightly), I then realized this was well beyond the adjustment screw tolerance. After closer examination it was clear the door frames were assembled incorrectly. The manufacturer failed to insert the roller assembly tab in a slot in the vertical frame, resulting in a very noticeable misalignment in the door. Noticing the bracket would no longer fit, they mangled the mounting bracket to “fit” the screw holes it mounted into. It was clear the assembler knew this was wrong and completed the doors anyway and shipped the product. I was able to reassemble it, by taking it apart and reshaping the bracket. It wasnt especially difficult, but not what i want to do in the middle of a whole house renovation. I had enough surprises without this. Once mounted correctly the doors look and work great. Too bad i had a lousy experience with first door.

Very easy to install, only issue was that there were no instructions in box. I went online to their website and downloaded instructions, no problem.

I bought two of these, of different dimensions, for my rental duplex remodel. All of the hardware was included, and installation was pretty easy, even by myself. The larger 4x8 panels were bulky, but manageable. The roller hardware was nice and beefy to support such a heavy door. All in all, they look great, and I would probably buy them again.

I bought the 60 x 81 Contractors Wardrobe "Concord Mirrored White Aluminum Interior Sliding [Closet] Door". The only enclosed part that was pre-cut to the 60 inch width was the wood strip; the aluminum Top Channel and the aluminum Bottom Track had to be cut to the right width. Therefore, you’ll need a hacksaw and.a decent miter box (read: avoid a miter box made of plastic; it’s difficult to make a straight cut with them because the slots are 1/8” wide giving too much play in the blade; see attached photo) or a power miter saw. My installation was a-typical. That is, I needed to install the wood strip directly over carpet (without padding under the area where the wood strip was going to be installed) and attach it to concrete underneath (see attached photo). I used Tapcon brand, 3/16 in. x 1-3/4 in. Phillips-flat-head concrete anchors. You *must* use a hammer drill if you do this. I pre-drilled the holes in the wood strip first using a 5/32 in. wood drill bit. Then, I pre-drill the holes--through the wood strip, through the carpet, and into the concrete--for the concrete screws using a Tapcon 5/32 in. x 3-1/2 in. carbide drill bit. I bought the Tapcon pro installation took kit for Tapcon concrete anchors to help with that. Highly recommend to make the job easier (and no, I don't work for Tapcon). Then, I fastened the wood strip using the Phillips-flat-head concrete anchor screws. Don’t use the hex-head version of the screws because the head sticks up too far for you to screw down the Bottom Track flush against the wood strip. That’s it! The doors have some nice heft to them, glide easily on the tracks, and look great. I would buy them again. (On a side note: If you chose to pick-up the doors at Home Depot, open the box in the store, in front of a Home Depot employee. Be sure you inspect everything. This check is important, even if you don't see any outward signs of damage to the box container.)

mirrors had flaws on them, over a dozen defects 1in in size that you could see from 10ft away. Had to order 2nd set which still had 1 defect area but at least it was not as noticeable. Dont recommend ordering them since the quality of the mirror is poor and they dont have them in stock where you can look at them before taking them home.

Works very well. Also extremely light weight for such large mirrors. Of the 4 we ordered one was shattered on arrival but the company replaced it with no problem. We installed a stop at each end of the openings. Be sure to read the instructions so you don't place the bottom track out as far as the top track. The bottom track is to go inside the top track not even with it.

This product was a snap to install. Quality components, I will use again! I used a compound miter saw to cut the head and track rails. The doors are light as a feather and glide easily even though I used the 96" wide door. Simple screws attach the head rail and the track, I used the concrete nails (included) into the grout joints since I was installing track over tile. This product is great for closets with multiple tiers or features that beg for wider access. Since this bedroom is smaller, the gliding doors take door swing space out of the equation. I had half a day slated to install this system, but I had it done (first time ever) in under an hour. Packaging was secure and glass was well protected during shipping.

Like others, I appreciate the doors and the quality, but not the fact that I had to QA the product. I ordered these for my daughters room and had hopes of finishing before she arrived home from college for her holiday break. They didn't arrive as soon as originally predicted, so we missed that window of opportunity. I finally picked them up at the store a couple days after Christmas. After they were rolled out to me on a cart I noticed that the packaging, which frankly looks pretty stout (wood framing, thick cardboard and foam lining), had some damage to it. I asked the kid if it was inspected and he said "You can check it now if you'd like." In retrospect I should have. Rather than spend ten minutes unpacking them there to inspect, I brought them home. Yep - one was punctured. I installed one just so we could make progress. I then called HD to initiate a return. The first time they were not at all helpful. The second person suggested I order another set and then return what is damaged. The third call (now a week into this process) resulted in someone contacting the mfg. Another week passed before they contacted me, but once that happened they were quick to correct the issue by sending a delivery straight to my house and reclaiming the broken door. Now they're installed and look and operate great. Smooth sliding doors with adjustable wheels. Not the top of the line, but for the price they exceeded my expectations. The doors themselves are solidly built. Install was super easy - a couple cuts of the tracks and a few screws. 15 minutes total time invested.

These closet doors are well built and look great. Installing them was fairly simple but consumed about two hours of my time. They look good, are sturdy, function well, and most importantly my wife loves them.

It probably took me longer to unbox this in the driveway and carry it in than to install it! Six screws hold up the top guide which needs to be cut to length Bottom track is cut and screwed or nailed to floor, doors set in and adjusted to ride above the track. Hint, read the instructions! I nailed the track down, wrong, you nail the wooden strip down and screw the track to it. That would make it easier if the track ever has to be taken up for floor work. This rolls much easier than top hung doors, easier to install and wife loves it.
