My first tool belt was comprised of an old WWII web belt and a couple of worn and ragged leather pouches of indeterminate origin. When I got my first job as an Electrician's Apprentice, I upgraded to a "real" tool belt, this time all leather but fairly simple. That belt lasted for years and years and finally got so worn it was falling apart. Time to look for a new tool belt. Man, have I been out of touch! When I first put on this tool belt, I was love at first touch! First, It has a large range of waist size from 34" to 48" so it fits a lot of people! The belt is a two piece affair with a wide padded inner belt that affixes with velcro and a nylon web outer belt with snap clips. The padding really gives one support for the lower back and just feels comfortable all day. One interesting feature I noted was that the pile fastener side of the belt is removable if for some reason you don't want the inner belt fastening. Other great touches include two metal hammer loops, interior loops in the main pockets for holding tools and the really cool rear stiffner plates attached to the back of the pouches that provide form holding support as well as pivoting out to provide a stand to hold the pouch upright for easy access to tools and other pouch contents when not wearing the belt but still using it . It may have taken me awhile to give up on my old tool belt but it was worth the wait. This tool belt is probably one of the most enjoyable tools I own bar none.

Now this is a tool belt. Tools belts do not need to be made of leather to be heavy duty. This tool belt is quality made and for those that care it looks nice. I picked this belt up because I do a lot of work around my houses and my parents house. I have just gotten tired of running back and forth to the garage to grab the tools and hardware I need, or trying to dig through a disorganized tool back for what I need. So since I am getting ready to build a 10x12 shed in my backyard. I decided to pick this belt up to make my life a little easier. Now I have never worn a tool belt so i was skeptical about how comfortable I would be in it. As I have heard some of these things can be very uncomfortable. To my surprise though this belt was really comfortable, even though it is a larger tool belt. The belt itself is padded very well, and it seemingly sized to maximum its strength while maintaining comfort. The belt easily adjusts to many different waist sizes, and once it secured to your waist it doesnt move. Even when packed full of tools. The belt does not sag with movement either. The one feature I really like about this belt is how with the press of a button the pockets can be easily removed or re-positioned. The large pockets have a kickstand on the back that folds out allowing you to stand the pouch up once it is removed from the belt. With this tool belt you receive 2 large pockets for anything from hammers, to screw drivers, wrenches, measuring tapes, drill bits, nails, screws, and more. Basically these pockets will hold pretty much any hand tool you might need for a large job. You also receive a small pocket for holding fasteners or other hardware. Dont be mistaken by the large size of the belt. This tool belt is made for any size job as toughbuilt makes many different sizes and style pouches and tool hooks to fit to this belt. Toughbuilt got it right with this. A great quality, nice looking, strong, and comfortable belt that is right on par with the price tag. The only things I dont really like is that the belt itself is fairly wide. So though it is very comfortable while standing and moving around. It is not comfortable to sit down with so removing it when ever you sit down is necessary. The upside to that is the velcro strap and large clip make the belt easy to remove. Also though this belt is very strong. It has a zipper on the velcro strap that I deem as a weak point. If anything is going to break on the belt. It will be that zipper. You can get around fatiguing that zipper though by simply using the velcro strap to secure and remove the belt from your waist instead of the zipper. In my book this belt still gets 5 stars.

This Toughbuilt 4 piece Contractor Tool Belt Set is extremely well made with tons of features. It weighs 5 pounds as received (without tools). Fortunately it's easy to size to fit and the different pouches can be moved/added or removed as needed. Only limited instructions are included (on small tags) but what's not specifically described is pretty obvious. This tool belt should serve well for a long time!

This by far the best concept I have seen in tool bag design. A system that allows the user to add or subtract bag(s) or items as needed and with the push of a button. The bags and other tool holders can be used on the pant's or with a common belt. The larger bags have a kick stand that allow the user to use these set upon a table or work station. It's allows me to organize my tools per job and either take the bag I need or set my belt up for bigger or more involved jobs. A 3 strand suspender set can be added and there a lot of bags and tool holder to choose from I am so happy to see a belt set with so much versatility. I will add to this and I am familiar with Toughbuilt. A responsible and knowledgeable tool maker. I really can't say enough about this system.

Tools look great. Now TBLT needs to send their shareholders some gift packets. Anyone invested into this company is at least 80% down minimum. You owe us Toughbuilt.

The absolute best I've ever had

I liked how easy they were to change. But when you load them up with screws they weigh down and the buckles hurt your sides

Tried to save a couple bucks by purchasing this. Should have spent a couple more and gotten a quality product.

I love it and it came right on schedule.

Extremely high quality with great selection of tool pockets, but very heavy.Bottom reinforced edges are very strong, but rub against and irritate your legs.
