This hose is the absolute worst hose on the market. It kinks all over, doesn’t relax enough to hang it after use. And within a few months 3 bursts, 2 leaks. I submitted a claim to replace under warranty with all the photos and receipts, and they send me a generic email asking me to send the very same information I already spent time entering and uploading when submitting the claim to being with. Awful awful awful customer service.

This pile of crap is more kinks than hose. Useless for any commercial work unless you love wasting time trying to wrap this garbage up. Waste your money elsewhere.

Male end of hose came off within two weeks of use. I was hoping this would be high capacity pressure durable but it was not unfortunately.

Had it about a year and it blew out a couple days ago

As you can see from picture, it leaked from place that can only be a manufacturing defect. Will return. I did use it for a sprinkler and it did link when unrolled and because of the heaviness it was difficult to unkink.

As you can see in the picture, hose not attached to hardware. Turned on the water, popped right off.. no crimping marks or anything. Hose was fully extended.

I have a spigot in my yard that comes directly off the main, installed by a prior homeowner. (Yeah, I know.) It has fantastic water pressure because it's not subject to a regulator. Needless to say, this much water pressure calls for a heavy duty hose. This Element ContractorFarm hose purchase replaces a four-year-old Craftsman that kept blowing off a connector at the end. (Otherwise the Craftsman is a great old-school rubber hose without any "memory" problems.) I had high hopes that this replacement would be just as good as the Craftsman given it's the most I have paid for a hose to date. Unfortunately, despite having a quality feel, it does not live up a key part of its advertising: "Specially formulated material and octagonal shape prevents this industrial hose from kinking so you can concentrate on the task at hand". The hose kinks big time — as my review photo shows — and because it is so heavy duty once it kinks it's nearly impossible to unkink it until the water is turned off. When the water is flowing the kinks come back in the same spots. The hose developed a "memory" for kinks within two weeks of purchase. Since Craftsman is no longer offered in 100' length and this hose is just a tad bit short — my 100' Craftsman is almost 15' longer — I intend to return this hose and re-do the repairs to the Craftsman because there is no longer anything on the market that strikes a balance between flexibility and burst resistance.

Didn't keep the receipt. Thought a contractor grade hose wouldnt need to be replaced. Save your money. Junk. Absolute junk and a waste of $100. I have the cheapest ones you can buy that still work fine. Look at this though. And of course the home Depot doesn't save receipts. Save the money. Get the cheap stuff.

Extremely disappointed, we thought it would be a higher quality hose for the price and advertised as "Contractor Farm" making the assumption it would withstand alot of use. We had it 3 days and the outer rubber is splitting at the seams, now the inner portion is coming undone and the hose kinks all the time. Not happy!!!

Was told it could be drove over this is the second time I have had to take it back because it split the one I just brought has a hole already

This hose has developed permanent kinks. Yes I know how to wind up a hose properly, but this one is hopeless. Gave one star because of this problem in conjunction with the high price. At such a high price, the quality should be impeccable.

I absolutely love the connection between the hose itself and the spigot. It is incredibly easy to screw in as it only takes two fingers. The hose itself feels like it's high quality and made well. If you keep it uncoiled correctly before using there are no worries of it kinking up on you. 5 stars all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This contractor farm house is heavy duty and rugged. It's 3/4 " around and fits perfectly on outside spigot. It is very long,50' so it can extend far in your yard. It winds up easily onto hose rack. It has lead free couplings with hose Armour, to prevent kicking at the spigot. It makes for lead free safe-drinking from the hose. Made in the USA. I would say this is definitely an excellent purchase for someone that needs a hose that will last for years if taken care of properly.

I got an Element brand, Contractor Farm 3/4” by 50’ hose and I am very satisfied with its performance. It’s lead free, 400+ PSI for high performance burst strength. It has lead free couplings with Hose Armour to prevent kinking at the spigot. Made in the USA. It has a lifetime warranty and is drinking water safe. I love this Element Contractor Farm 3/4” x 50’ hose and expect to use it for many years to come.

This Element Contractor Farm hose is very well made and high quality. The hose is 3/4" in diameter and 50' long so it reaches lots of areas. The hose is strong and is kink free. The couplings are strong and crush-proof. Easily attaches to the spigot. Has held up to some strong use so far. Recommended by my Dad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found a kink on first use directly after unwrapping the hose. The weight and thickness of the hose makes this an annoying inconvenience. I like the attachment end of the hose its easy to screw on and off of the hose bib, I have not had any issues screwing on attachments to the end of the hose, nor have I had any leaking, yet. It works ok but, this hose was described as contractor/farm grade and it had an exceptional strong looking end on it so I expected more from it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hose is SUPER durable. It has extra protection around the hose connection to keep it from bending and breaking. The hose has super thick walls, lead free, and has a 400 psi burst strength! This is the 50’ length, so is perfect for pressure washing around the house. I would need a larger hose for more outdoor tasks in my yard, but overall this is a fantastic hose!

The hose appears to be of the highest quality but as soon as it was under pressure the attachment hardware blew off the hose. Used old radiator clamp.

This hose is not the least bit kink resistant. Had it 2 days and the end of the hose blew out. No way this hose is worth $70. Furious

These are the only locally stocked 3/4 hoses. Two leaked at the pressed male fitting and Home Depot replaced. This hose with minimal use ( kept mainly for grass fire protection at barn) within a few months has major bulging and inner liner failures in multiple places. Worst hoses I’ve ever owned

I spent the extra money to get a good hose that would last a few years only to have it leak after less than 2 months. The fitting on the end has split and now sprays water all over me when I use the hose.

The hose material itself seems very heavy duty, but beware that the connector ends are plated aluminum. After a few months of use, I tried to remove a solid brass shutoff valve only to find the threads were completely corroded together and had to cut it off. Everyone knows that dissimilar metals should not be co-mingled due to galvanic corrosion.

Bought this hose a week ago and upon trying to use it the third time, the outer red rubber layer split right open exposing the even cheaper inside. Not even a week did it last! Unbelievable! I'm not writing this review bc I'm angry with Home Depot but simply to try and save someone else time and money. This hose wasn't just a few extra bucks, it's literally almost double the cost of others, and for what, you don't get better quality. Home Depot, listen to your customers and get that crap off your shelves.

Unbelievable!!!!! this house is no more than three weeks old I've used it three times and it is already split and I got a pinhole leak at the neck.

Fitting popped off.have no idea how to fix it.please help
