This unit was easy to assemble, and is nice and sturdy. We only used 6 of the shelves however, due to some of the larger books we placed on it. All 8 might have gotten used if the books were paperbacks.

Good size is about all I have to say good about this product. Watch out for splinters, damaged hardware (screws & shelving clips) and for damaged particleboards. You can't double check this before the delivery guy runs away so do it as soon as you can afterwards.

Just what I needed. Hard to find 48” wide bookcase.

This is a heavy book case, that was easy to assemble. It is veneered particle board, so have to be careful to not over screw and strip the thread. Would advise to not use a drill, take the time and use a manual screwdriver. My wife is happy with the purchase, and you know what they say about a happy wife...

This is an excellent bookcase! It was delivered very well packaged and in good condition. Once assembled, it was sturdy and looked great. My son was excited to use it for his book collection.

There was no labeling on all the pieces yet instructions went my piece A to Piece B etc. it you have no idea what piece that is ,after putting it all together hiring someone to lift it up for me ,I found I had put a side piece upside down which caused me to put the bottom front on wrong .

I received the product in good time. I checked the package and the cam locks were missing. I called the company and they were very helpful and said they would send the cam locks at no cost to me. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting. This bookcase seems like it will be very nice if I ever get it together.

The middle broad was to small didn’t fit?

Somewhat clumsy to assemble but very complete assembly kit. Color was considerably darker than illustrations.

The directions were not very good at all! But once it was put together it was just what we were looking for.

Everything is good except the top and bottom moldings do not sit flush against the side moldings. There is about a 1cm space left open.

I use it for my in home child care. It holds all of our baskets perfectly and looks great.

Nice shiny dark wood color. Its not as tall as it looks in the photo.....comes to about mid chest height and I'm 5'4". Looks sturdy enough for the books in our office BUT it has chips all over the edges-poor quality. its not easy but not super hard to assemble. Took less than an hour. But be careful because its not sturdy and will chip when you use an electric screwdriver. I would not put this in my living room but for an office break area it will be ok.

Very cheap material for close to $300. Instructions said their was labeling but nothing on actual pieces so I was left up to guessing. The material used as the backboard feels and looks like tapped cardboard, extremely cheesy. Probably wouldn't buy anymore products from them

Product is under par and not worth the dollars i paid for it. 2 unassembled pieces in the box when recieved. Not broken from shipment but rather poorly put together, not properlly glued and fastened during assembly. I was able to repair both pieces better than original assembly process. Not impressed and as others have stated , there was no assembly instructions. Luckly i've put many items together so it was easy for me to figure out.

This was going to be used in a professional office setting. We've ordered bookshelves within this price range from other manufacturers without issues. However this product came in without hardware. The manufacturer agreed to send hardware free of charge, but it took an additional 3 weeks. Once we received the hardware, we assembled the bookshelf and were shocked that the quality was so poor. Some pieces were cut too short, leaving gaps between the pieces. The seams on the back of the product were taped together with clear packing tape, straight from the manufacturer! There were lots of scuffs and marks on the wood, but there was actually a large chunk of the wood that was broken away from the front center rail too! This was not a re-packaged product, this is how it looked directly from the manufacturer's sealed box. After calling the manufacturer, they offered to send a free putty repair kit for us to try to patch the product. We even had to rebuild one of the shelves that was damaged. All in all, we were greatly disappointed.
