I'm loving how quiet this fan is. The light shines a more yellow hue. Also it's pretty poweful. I've only left it on high a couple times because of how forceful it is.

Attractive, and VERY quiet for bedroom install. Perfectly balanced, and no hum or thrum. Quality hardware, clear instructions. Installation can be a tin bit fussy, but take your time and you'll have no trouble. We like it so much we're planning on installing the same fan in other rooms, especially since the price is an excellent value.

A very attractive fan that runs quietly and does a great job of circulating air in a medium to large space. I love the pewter finish and the contrasting faux wood blades (you can reverse the blades to show white instead). Installation was generally straightforward, but installing the fan blades after the fan was installed on the ceiling was a very difficult one-person job (you have to line up the fan blade with an opening from the disk underneath to be able to screw it in place, and working upside down means it's *really* easy to drop the screws). I would recommend ignoring the instructions and trying to install the fan blades prior to mounting. Only minor complaint with the product itself is the lights aren't as bright as I would like for being over our dining room table. It's a nice warm light, but not up to the task of filling a room with light.

This fan looks great. I had them installed 2 days ago. I bought one for my room and one for my guest room since I didn't have any light from the ceiling. High, medium, and low speeds really move some air. I am using LED light bulbs for some extra brightness but it still seems kind of dark in my rooms at night. Looks great in daylight. Overall, I love them!

The ceiling fan was very easy to install and the instructions are clear. This fan operates so quiet and creates great airflow throughout the room, and the Comet ceiling fan is very attractive. I highly recommend this fan.

The fan was reasonably priced and well made.

I bought 4 of these fans and hand them installed. 3 are fine but one has a loud hum from the motor. HD will replace it but I would need to pay to have it installed again .

Very easy to install, this fan is super quiet. My only complaint is that there are only 2 bulbs (candelabra base) in the light. The supplied bulbs were too dim, I replaced with higher output LED bulbs.

Looks nice but not strong enough to cool my small livingroom.

The fan is just fine, but the instructions were horrible. When it got to the step where you install the blades, there was not enough room for any type of screwdriver. I had to partially disassemble the unit to put the blades on. The instructions mentioned none of this.

I would give it 5 stars if had better instructions. Other than that the fan works great, good air flow. Installed huger mode close to the ceiling.

Nice fan for the price.

The fan was recommended by my favorite review site Wirecutter as being well built and I think overall it’s a good fan but installation was more tedious than other fans we have put together and I wish the light was a little brighterIt is a nice looking fan and a great price and quiet which makes it well worth the effort

Was fairly easy to install.

The fan is worth the money. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the bulbs. It takes the smaller decorative bulbs not a standard size

Quiet powerful fan

Love the fan but spent $96 each for two of these online and then saw them that same week in the store for $50. Very disappointed that we are trying to social distance as much as possible by ordering online but store pricing was cheaper. A credit would be nice. My order number was WA80911576

Very quiet fan and very pleased with it. Have 2 howevers, however. Need small hands or magnetized tools to attach blades to motor housing, as screws are guaranteed to be dropped and find their way into the motor housing.. Advise installing as a hugger on any ceilings not taller than 8', as I don't like looking at the space between the motor housing and light kit. Overall, a very good fan at an affordable price that should last for many years.

Great fan but very difficult to install!

The washer for the fan are hard to put on.

Pretty good fan

I followed Wirecutter's recommendation for the best ceiling fan, period, to replace a smaller, noisy ceiling fan. My new Westinghouse fan is much quieter and works exactly as advertised, so it perfectly meets my need for QUIET cooling in an office area. I'm a happy customer!

The fan works as expected--actually better. It also has a pleasing design for a product that isn't very expensive. I didn't install it myself and am glad I didn't try. It was challenging!

Spent all the time to install only to find bearing noise. Westinghouse QC leaves much to be desired.

Directions are easy to follow but some of red washers will not fit on screws to mount the blades to motor.

The directions weren't all clearly written. But this was the second fan we bought. It looks great, was relatively easy to install, and is inexpensive given its good looks me quality.
