I've been purchasing the cherry hardwood 10 pack for the past 3 years. I would occasionally find 1 piece out of 30 that had very noticeable sap stains. Now it is quite common to receive an entire box that is totally unusable. The "B" side doesn't even look like cherry anymore. As one of their most expensive woods, one would expect better quality control for a $56 pack of 10 12"x19" planks. Very disappointed. Warning... don't expect your purchase to look anything like the ones in their photo!

There used to be an "A" side and a "B" quality side of the 2-sided Cherry ply. Now both sides can be just plain bad. On multiple sheets in the same box. So disappointed with my last couple of boxes. Tiny knots can be cut around, but some sheets aren't useable. Pictures below are of my worst box yet, though the next box I opened only had minor knots or black streaks in most of the pieces. Still having good luck with the consistency of the mahogany. Paying almost $10 more a box for increasingly worse quality.

Did not like the light color

I bought a new, larger TV and the media stand I have wasn't wide enough. It was either purchase a new, wider media stand or get creative. I decided if I could just buy a board wide enough for the new TV and screw it to the old media stand, that would do the job. Save money and use the stand that I have. The size I wanted was not a standard size, so being able to have a free custom cut was tremendously helpful. I ordered it to the size I wanted, screwed it to the stand and now the new TV fits.

I realize you're probably better off with a full panel in terms of cost, but sometimes I think it's worth it to get these smaller project panels. They're easy to move, you don't have break down a 4x8 panel, and they're much easier to store if you're not getting right to a project. I've now used several different panels and wood types and this was the first one that has warped slightly. Slightly disappointing., maybe I just got a bad batch?

The cherry veneer on this panel is very thin so there are some imperfections that you may not be able to work around, depending on your project. I have a couple of areas on the finished side where there are pieces missing, leaving the plywood visible. There are a couple of other imperfections where you can see the plywood as well so keep that in mind. Luckily, the project I'm working on allowed me to work around these issues. I will note that one side looks like a completely different type of wood. Birch maybe? It's very light weight so it's easy to handle and easy to cut. The panel arrived very well packed and I didn't experience any shipping damage.

I steam bent some cherry wood and made Shaker Oval Boxes for Christmas. I needed the tops and bottoms to be cherry plywood. Solid cherry for this purpose could result in wood movement and possibly crack the bent cherry used for the sides of the boxes.. This plywood had no voids between the plys and no blemishes on either side of the plywood, unlike some plywood I have bought in the past. The top and bottom plys were thick enough allowing sufficient sanding without fear of sanding through the layers.

I use this for laser cutting and it cuts smooth and cleanly. Definitely recommended for this application.

Visual quality is amazing as usual but this order was much worse than past orders. I never expect perfection because of the nature of the product but this particular order was much more bowed than usual. Very hard to use when you’re using it with a laser. Flatness is extremely important.

My first order of this product arrived damaged and when I contacted the company, their response was, 'oh well, that can happen, just order another one and hope that it's not damaged in shipping.' So I ordered another, asked if it could be packaged more carefully, and it arrived in worse condition than the first, scratched and split in places. The boards were custom cut and both pieces were thrown in thin walled cardboard box without any corner reinforcements or packing. If you are shipping custom pieces, I would not recommend this product.

One side was not as nice as the other side but overall worked well for what I needed it for.

Two 2 x8 panels I planned to use together. I assumed these would be halves of the same 4X8 sheet, but instead, they were as differently colored and constructed as cherry plywood can be. The two stars are for the quality of packaging and lack of damage. I wouldn't go this route again...

Was a small ding in the corner. Packaging wasn't stellar, but all in all, worked fine.

Almost half of the boards were warped

Nice piece of plywood. Skins were clean and clear. Even the “secondary “side was nice. The skins were paper thin and there was only three plys plus the skins. I needed the wood as a back. Don’t expect to usr it as a shelf

The product was wet and the boards not good. It was left outside

Excellent product!! It met all of my expectations!!

The price is right, but you get what you pay for. This plywood looks to be poplar with thin cherry veneers on each side. To be fair, they do use the word veneer in their description. Bottom line, this stuff looks decent if you hide the sides, but DO NOT sand the tops heavily or you might go through the veneer.

Perfect for my laser cutting project. Good finish on both sides.

It was delivered in decent packaging, but the product was pristine and met my needs.
