Disappointed. A part needed to be modified for the faucet to be installed. I guess that’s why the faucet was so cheap. Expected better from American Standard.

Good Single Handle Faucet with Ceramic Valve
This faucet features cast brass waterways with brass inlet “city shanks” so it feels strong and durable although the underbody and aerator interface are plastic. I like the faucet has a “traditional” inlet hookup scheme (no pre-attached flexible supplies) so that one can connect the faucet with either copper or flexible supplies. The faucet is very easy to clean up because the shoulders or sides are rather flat with a slight angle forward. Thus, any splashed water tends to stay on top and front towards the sink instead of dripping backwards into the back. It also has a ceramic cartridge that can be cleaned according to the instructions. As another reviewer mentioned, the faucet is indeed rather noisy. This is especially true when the valve is one-third opened where the cartridge creates a perfect geometry for “turbulences” coming from the mixing of hot and cold water. To reduce the noise or the turbulence inside the faucet, I use a 1.0 gpm PCA aerator by NeoPerl instead of the 1.5 gpm that came with the faucet. With a 1.0 gpm aerator, the tendency is always to turn the valve more than one-third opened. PCA (Pressure Compensating Aerator) attempts to provide a constant 1.0 gpm flow regardless of the pressure that there is no noticeable loss in water or pressure (for bathroom faucet, it’s perfect). The faucet has three models: 2175.200 with 50/50 pop-up drain 2175.202 with metal pop-up drain 2175.205 less pop-up drain There is less than a dollar difference in price between 200 and 205 so buy Model 2175.200.
