Crap in aerator

Bought this 141 through Amazon one month ago. Water flow was poor after installation until I removed the aerator and found numerous black fragments impending the flow. Removed the fragmants and let water run. Today, water flow was weak again and aerator was again full of black fragments! See photo. Clearly a hose or gasket is degrading and throwing crap into my family's drinking water. Not uncommon if you search the internet! Last Delta product I will ever buy as I've kinda gotten used to knowing my water is safe to drink.

We understand how frustrating this can be and are happy to help you. Reduced flow is typically caused by debris. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shutoff valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know. We also have a Limited Lifetime Warranty on this product. Great New Faucet

We had this faucet professionally installed today to replace a similar model that started to leak after nine years of use. It controls the water flow very well and shuts tightly. It looks great as well. I would say a very good option, especially where a classic, simple design with a base is preferred.

Won't Stay Tightened

Had it a year and loosens up, moves around on sink top. Now, it won't tighten any further. I have a loose faucet scraping my new sink top.

Poor design faucet

This faucet is very hard to use because users have to use a certain specific and meticulously way to completely turn it off. Otherwise the water will continue to drip, which occurs routinely. It is not helpful to push down harder to stop the dripping water. For my faucet, I have to lift the handle up and to put it down toward the cold water side to completely turn the faucet off. I do not recommend the faucet.

awkward installation

I have been installing faucets for over 40 years. I found the long supply tubes extremely awkward to work around. The four plastic pipes were so close together that trying to tighten the bolt to anchor the unit to the countertop was almost impossible. Things had to be aligned perfectly or they fell apart. The faucet kept falling over and dislodging the alignment. Took way longer than it should have to install.

Better than I expected

I replaced another brand name that wasn't up to par. It leaked out from under, mixed control didn't mix correctly, and sprayer didn't have any pressure. I'm hoping this Delta lives up to it's name.

First impression. If you are looking for an inexpensive but functional laundry tube faucet this single-handle Delta will do the job. The faucet head extends beyond the back face of the laundry tube far enough to fill any bucket and water your potted plants. The base plate is chromed plastic and the rest of the faucet must be constructed of other light weight material because the entire unit is very light compared to the old Delta laundry tube faucet it replaced. The single-handle lever requires the lightest pressure to operate so I'm hoping if I use it gently it will function without problems for a long time to come. The old Delta lasted about 20 years, I'm not that hopeful for the new Delta.

All things considered, a great tap so far.

We are very pleased with this faucet, so far. (It was only installed two weeks' ago). It isn't always easy to find a single-hole faucet, and this one fits the bill perfectly. Installation was quick and easy (10-15 minutes at most), and it looks great. I like that the faucet has a round plinth-like base, where it meets the sink, it's a nice detail. We are particularly pleased with the water flow rate; the sink fills in no time. The spout swivels easily between our two sinks. My only quibble is the one-touch control; I haven't quite mastered the technique needed to deliver water at the temperature I want; like Goldilocks, I'm constantly adjusting between just a bit "too hot" and just a tad "too cold". It may just be a matter of getting used to it.
