Returned not what I expected

My closet space is 29.5 inches, so I was very excited to find this. We hung all the installation hardware, then proceeded to install this kit. It didn't fit! After much argument about who did what incorrectly, we measured the individual bars. The short bar is just under 24 inches, and the extender bar is 31 inches... so the reality of the math is that this doesn't work for anything between 24 and 31 inches because without the extension, you get roughly 24 only; with the extension you cannot use it for anything smaller than 31. We purchased two for a double rack setup. Hoping it was just a bad unit, we opened the second unit only to discover the same problem. Probably an excellent closet solution for 24 inch closets or 31 to 48 inches, but it's false to say it fits all widths from 24 to 48 inches. I wish I had read reviews beforehand since another person has the same issue, it seems.

This did not work for us as the rod is really for closets with a width of 24 inches or 30-48 inches. The larger rod that fits over the smaller rod is 30 inches in length and our closet is 27 inches. Returned.

This product was easy to install, and has met my needs.

Perfect fit for what was needed. No problems with product.

I bought this shelf to add a rack in my garage..the ease of use it's very simple. The quality is some what shaky but over all it get s the job done...#lightningco

I just set it up in my son's room (2 year old) closet but does not seem to be very sturdy. If you are looking for something that will hold up well, this will probably not be the best purchase. It was very easy to set up.
