I really like how this garage door looks, even from inside the garage—looks a lot more solid than the other ones I’ve had.

We build custom homes and use Grand Valley Garage doors. The service and quality are great. They know what we need and work so well with us. We have used a variety of doors with and without windows.

New door looks great and operates so smoothly - so glad we finally replaced our old Clopay door! At 25 years it was still in great shape because Clopay makes such a excellent product, but it was starting to look "dated". The new Gallery door is SHARP & already getting complements!

Also love that ours are wireless and we can even open and shut them when we aren’t home. So smart!! The color is perfect and they go perfect with our brick. Awesome insulated steel garage door

First using the Clopay software was a great tool for selecting our door style and color. After the installation we were extremely happy with the quietness of the door while operating and the quality of the wood grain was top notch.

The design of the garage door was a nice up-grade for my home

So happy with our new door. It gave our home a new and fresh look. Neighbors say it looks rich looking and gave our home a completely different look. The black handles and hinges really stand out.

Missing instructions and parts horrible

The door is fine but the torsion springs are extremely noisy. Googled a remedy and apparently this is a known issue. The remedy that we found was to spray the springs with lithium grease but sadly this only lasts for 2-3 days and then we have to reapply. Not only expensive but also potentially messy for vehicles passing under the springs. Really wish that there was a permanent remedy for fix this issue.

Door arrived ahead of schedule, in perfect shape,with all the parts and free shipping.A very nice looking door and seems to be of very good quality.I had no experience installing garage doors before this and as far as mechanical aptitude,I am probably your average home owner. The instructions are pretty decent, just make sure you follow and read them carefully,or you will be doing things twice. My wife helped me lift the panel sections into place but I pretty much done everything else myself.I bought this door to replace an existing cheapo non-insulated aluminum eyesore and it is a huge improvement. It weighs quite a bit more,so I also bought a new opener (Genie 1-1/4 hp,belt drive) to replace the 1/2 hp model I had.You could probably get by with less HP, but this was the best one I found for the money and it does a great job.Over all,I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend this type of door for any home.

The door itself and hinges are nice quality and install easily. That's where the compliments end. The door tracks are supposed to be an adjustable distance from the garage walls. Not all garage openings and framing are the same. Clopay rivets the track wall mounts to the tracks. It took me a long time to remove the rivets and replace them with track bolts. I called Clopay and the person asked why I wanted to adjust the tracks. It shows the adjustment in the barely adequate instructions. Bob Villa has a overhead door installation video online. The tracks are supposed to be adjustable so the door fits next to the opening and the rollers function properly. My home was built in 1940 and the separate garage is 40'x20' with concrete slab walls. The door openings are framed with wood. Another issue is, the instructions show how to secure the track ends to the ceiling with angle iron. What they do not tell you, until later, is you must stop work, go to the store and purchase the angle iron separately. The door set gives you everything but track bolts, that are presently supposed to be on order from Clopay in Ohio. After waiting for about 6 weeks for the door delivery, I could have purchased the angle iron and could have had the door up and functioning in one day. But removing rivets and still waiting for the delivery of track bolts is taking - so far - over a week. Like I said, the door is good and I like it but I would have liked to know the track adjustments are not adjustable and the angle iron is n

It's not Home Depot's fault. Clopay's customer service is awful. I special ordered two doors because I had a non stock door height. After six weeks the doors arrived. Clopays shipping company delivered with just one employee despite 16' cartons that weighed several hundred pounds. When preparing for install I found one of the panels was damaged. Clopay had me email a picture of the panel to their dedicated Home Depot customer service department. They said they would contact me that afternoon. Two days later I called back after no response. They said they could not find the email and the service agent had me resend directly to her. Again no follow up. That Friday I called and they told me the panel was in production. Four weeks later the panel arrives, again with just one employee. They refused to take the damaged one back so it was on me to dispose of it. That door then had missing hardware and the wrong instructions, they made me order the part thru Depot again instead of just sending it out. At least the store was helpful and the door looks good.

After being told the garage door would be installed two-three weeks after ordering, I waited five weeks plus another week for installation. Then we discovered that the decorative hardware for the front of the door was missing. It has been ordered, but again we wait. It should not take nearly two months to get a garage door. Given that, the installer was very professional as was Gloria at the local store.
