We purchased this runner to protect the carpet on our screened-in side porch. When we took the product out of the box we were pleased to find out how thick and heavy-duty it was and were thinking that it would be exactly what we needed. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for the runner to start migrating to one side in the middle as we walked on it, causing big humps in the runner. It seemed like the teeth on the back weren't even gripping the carpet. We have corrected the position of the runner many times, but it simply WILL NOT stay straight. I will be returning the product. Very disappointed.

We just got new carpeting for the first time in 15 yrs. and with this product, I expect to keep my new carpeting new for a good long time. This product will keep the hall off of the garage/laundry room between the bedrooms, clean. This portion of the carpet took a beating and eventually became so dirty no amount of professional cleaning was going to do the job. The runner is wide enough so that it covers all but 1" on either side. The vinyl is heavy duty so there shouldn't be any chance of ripping or tearing. I ordered #2 of the clear 36 in. by 20 ft. size runners. One was perfect. I had to cut the other to fit the other part of the hallway as it is "L" shaped. The vinyl is so heavy duty that cutting it was a bit of a challenge, so I would recommend measuring carefully and order the size(s) you need to avoid having to cut it. I would absolutely recommend this product.

product was a little stiffer than expected... wanted to remain rolled up... had to work to get it to lie flat... ended up using stair rods to hold it in place on stairs... looks good (it's vinyl), protects carpet very well... we have cats that wanted to sharpen their claws on stairs... this is no longer a problem

The runners are exactly what I wanted BUT if Home Depot has a NO REFUND policy for this item the least they can do is make sure it’s not damaged. There was a “v” type cut at the edge of one of the two I purchased.

It moves when I drive my wheelchair on it.

Width and length was perfect for my need.

I was surprised that I could order this product to my preferred specifications and the employee was helpful and patient. I will be looking for future trips to addressing needs.

Won’t grip the carpet like it I supposed to and creeps across the carpet when I roll over it in my wheelchair

This vinyl clear rug runner fits very well over my carpet. Love it because it protects my carpet from a lot of foot traffic and makes it easier to clean.

Works perfect for my needs to protect heavy traffic areas of wall-to-wall carpeting. The back side has raised vinyl grip spikes that hold it in place. It does not shift or bunch up.

the carton was severely damaged through UPS handling but after opening the package we discovered that the item was intact & as ordered

Fits to my expectations

These ribbed runners did not work out at all and I am going to have to return them to the store. The plastic is too soft to put on carpet and folds on top of itself when weight is put on it. I was hoping to use it for a walker or wheelchair, but like I said the plastic is too soft and does not allow the wheels to roll. I was really hoping it would work.
