Haven't got to use it. It came too late, not on the date promised. Not even that week. Had to do it the old fashioned way.

Too small

I wish it could came in a wider scraper size.

Works great to remove the old popcorn ceiling texture. Very little to almost no mess flying everywhere. I would highly recommend this to help in removing a textured ceiling!

Worked much better than drywall blade. I would recommend it everyday.

The scraper removed popcorn from ceiling nicely.. Especially close to the ceiling wall. And the vacuum sucked the popcorn so not a lot of dust. Love this!

I thought it came with 3 blades, nope just the one attached, haven’t tried it yet. About ready, remodling house, exterior stucco starting today.

The large side worked very well but the suction tubes on the back side plugged pretty easy so you could not push the scraper away from you and still have the paint chips sucked into the vacuum.

I returned the item. It did not meet my expectations.

Disappointing . The angle of the head makes it difficult to handle once it is attached to a vacuum hose. Tried it on 3 different painted surfaces and on a popcorn ceiling. I didn't work well on any of them.

The Chip Buddie is smaller that expected, actually too small to be of much good. It doesn't fit the vacuum very well nor did it come with any extra blades as pictured. Overall, it's a waste of money.

The Chip Buddy accessory for the Dustless Technology Wet/Dry vacuum worked exactly as it had been advertised to do. I purchased it, along with a six foot adapter hose, to dry scrape the popcorn ceilings in my new house, and it worked like a champ.

Works pretty good. Not enough blades. Faster to order this from Amazon. Amazon - 4 days delivered to my door. Home Depot - 2 weeks and I had to fight Memorial Day crowds to go pick it up.

Made a mess everywhere and did not make the job any easier!

This will pick up most of the paint chips but not all. The speed of scraping and the angle of the scraper to the surface will make a difference but it is still not a 100% solution. It is still a great device in reducing the mount of chips that fall away. The device is held on to the vac hose by friction and tends to separate as you are working but some duct tape takes car of that problem.

Only thing missing is a carbide blade instead of steel. Would be perfect for pop corn ceiling though.

Scrapes well but misses some of the dust and chipping. I used it to scrape a popcorn ceiling and it let about 30% of the dust and chips escape but it was still much better than not having anything. This company should make a larger one for this purpose that attaches to a large shopvac style hose as this one needs an adapter to adapt from the 1 1/4 inch attachment size to my 2 1/2 inch wet/dry vac.

Scraping Lead-based paint? Careful with this tool as when the chips start flying about 90% get vacumed and the rest go flying. A lagre improvement over just using a scraper but the tool could be improved if the plastic vacum shroud was closer to the scraper blade.

I purchased this product a while back to scrape the loose paint off some sills around a few old windows. It did a good job at getting the loose paint, but the old adheared paint was a little more stuborn. The biggest problem I had was getting this product connected to my wet/dry vac. My vac has a 2.5" hose, and this has a 1.25/1.5" hole.

I bought this item to scrape popcorn from a ceiling. (disclaimer: EPA says leave this job to abestos reclamation company in case abestos is present). PRO: The product is simple but very effective way to scrape product from a flat surface, it is just as effective as a 4 way paint scraper. The difference is the Chip Buddie Dustless Paint Scraper is desgned to be hooked up to a high filtration vac to remove most of the product and dust that you loosen with the scraper. CON: It is only 2 inches wide.
