I'm really enjoying this fan! I have it in my apartment living room and it definitely helps to cool me down. It looks really nice, it's quiet, and the lights are bright. I'd prefer for the pull chains to be a couple inches longer, but it works.

I love my new fan!

The fan looks great in two of our rooms. We hired an electrician to install since he was replacing the wiring in the house and cutting holes in the ceiling. He said it was a pain to get this one together. We are really happy with it and would buy it again.

Doesn’t seam to put out as much air as advertised

This is a good fan for the price. The fan is not really set up to use with wall switches. There are only two wires going into the fan. Everything is internally wired to use the pull chains. The light kit plugs into the fan. If you want to use the light with a wall switch, you'll have to rewire around the pull chain and take another wire up through the fan. I would have purchased a different fan, had I known this. I made it work for what I needed and the fan looks good.

We love it! Can't say anything bad about this fan. It is quiet. We got it for a good price. It looks really great too! Our other fan we have had since the mid 80's. Hated to have to throw it away, but our son was mopping the floor and forgot he had the fan on and broke the blade off. I would recommend this fan to others.

I bought this for my master bedroom and it looks awesome. It was a great buy.

Installed it is beautiful

I was surprised at how easy it was for my husband to install the fan. The color us awesome and it compliments the room well. It is not noisy and cools the room great. I love it.

we removed an old fan to replace with this so it was about a 20 min install very nice blades and fan overall and the cost was in line with the quality I am completely satisfied with my purchase. thanks Sandra

It looks great and installs easily. My only complaint is that all three of the included bulbs burned out within two weeks. I replaced them with LEDs and hopefully will have no more problems. Also, I suppose it is on the item description, but I don't recall reading it - the bulbs are the candelabra base size. They are a little bit harder to find, but it isn't a big deal if you know that's what your looking for.

The capacitors assembly was defective and had to be replaced.

When my wife opened the box she light up. It was what she expected and then some.

The Chastain II is beautiful and so quiet. I was so pleased at the amount of light it puts out! I researched ceiling fans for 6 weeks before deciding on this fan. You cannot go wrong buying the the Hampton Bay Chastain II and you will not regret it.

I bought two of these fans. Easy to install and very quiet. Nice looking too. I absolutely love them! Would highly recommend!
