My Charbroil is 12 years old and after eleven years in New England, winters and all, with no cover, it needed some TLC. I looked at new grills but they are mostly stamped steel, while my grill is cast aluminum, so no need to replace the whole thing. The replacement burner works perfectly. People who complain about the screw sizes don't know what they are doing. Everything tightened up perfectly, and the gas feeder hoses extended more than enough to reach the controls. And the clamps provided are just as tight as the originals.

Took 10 minutes to install. Grill works like new. All screws were the correct size, I don't understand what some of the other reviewers are complaining about.

I’ve had this grill for several yrs and has always given superior service and still working great.

I bought this a year ago and I well needs to replace it soon if you can make it a little thicker to last longer

Put together and tried to fit to a 90s Quickset Traditional. Could not get it to center or lay flat. Attached collector box, but it could not get enough gas to light. When lit, it burned yellow and uneven. Took it out and put in a Made In USA part from a 1980s grill I picked up in the trash and it still works great. This replacement part will keep you grilling, but not happy.

We use our grill about 3 times a week year round. We had a burner before from Char-Broil and were glad to buy this one from them.

I ordered the burner on line. Picked it up at the store. N o problem putting it on my Char broil grill. Works fine.

Home Depot was the only place that had a burner to fit an old grill, fit Perfectly!

I ordered this burner because I have a CharBroil BBQ. The unit assembled easily enough but the gas prongs were too big to fit through the openings in the BBQ.

Does everything in the add it claims too. I had no trouble adjusting to my 20 yr. old kenmore grill, I average about 2 to 2 1/2 yrs. life span on burners. Yeah I know its time to get a new grill but that old grill works just fine and is well seasoned!

The flex tubes are the weak link, and you can not buy them separately. The rest of this unit is great easy to install and very durable.

This product is awsome because fit with all grills the feuture is this is telescopic after that you can setup and adjust exactly your measure.

It was not a quick replace install like the older model replacements HD use to sell. Putting together the parts was pretty basic and easy. The issue I had was with the width of the tubing attached to the burner. On-center, they were wider than the two molded-holes in the base of the grill by a good 3/4 inch. The tubing is made of flexi-aluminum so bending smooth curves to adjust to fit down through holes was frustrating because the tubing isn't all that "tough" and easy to dent. On the millennium 3000 there is a steel lava-rock grate the tubing has to pass through, but because of the offset, it sort of caused the burner to sit off center and back and slightly tilted upward. But after more bending, twisting, and futzing around, the burner tubes connected up and I got it to sit somewhat on center, but the tubing is slightly dented (like the fins on an AC unit can get) a tad here and there due to the moving back-forth-down-etc..The last hurdle was getting the tube-ends to stay on. After putting clips on, I stretched out the original tube clamp pins so the point hooked onto the lip at the end of the burner tube and it just caught enough to hold tube back onto gas-inlet stubs. In the end it works and burner is now spread across entire width of grill . Not sure how long it will all last, but cheaper than getting new grill.

this replacement burner would have been just what i needed had the flex tubes fit the openings in the cast iron shell of the grill base that the on/off knobs connect to. they are too wide around and i just didnt feel like getting a drill out and fiddling with the grill .... i have hated the grill for the last 9 years anyway so instead of replacing the burner i bought a new grill.

Just take your time and this is a no brainer to put together and install.

The product was great for the money and should fit any grill size.

Baton Rouge customer is right! I should have learned from what he wrote. This Char Broil burner replacement kit is a waste of time and money. The tiny screws provided for the very first assembly step are TOO BIG for the double set of holes they are supposed to fit into! Unless the screws are inserted, the holes won't line up and the propane gas will not flow out of them! What a waste of time! I will return this replacement kit to the store and explain to the clerk this item's short-comings so that Home Depot purchasing agents notice. DO *NOT* BUY THIS ITEM!

This was the only product in the store that would fit my grill. Wish I had gone elsewhere and maybe gotten a different one. The screws and holes for the screws are not a match in size. Stripped out some of the screws trying to get it together. Also, the gas connections are flimsy though I understand they are meant to be flexible so to fit various styles of grills. This is a product to avoid unless there are no other options and you can pick up some screws while you are at the store so as not to have to make two trips.
