The doors seem very well made, but the frame color is much darker than the picture. I expected something a little brassier. Easy to install. My fireplace front is not all in a plane so the door does not fit tight all around, but that's not the door's fault. I'll stuff the cracks to stop any air draft when the doors are shut. Also, I'd like them a little higher for more exposure, but the large size seemed like it would be too large.

I love my new Carrington glass fireplace doors! The installation was pretty simple and I did need the riser bar included to make it a perfect fit. With the fiberglass panels included, I believe that I am saving any heat from going up my chimney. I priced other glass fireplace doors at a professional retailer, who wanted $1,200.00 for comparable bi-fold glass doors. The doors and magnetic screens open very easily and are also very easy to clean. I wish I bought these doors years ago instead of just settling for a tri-fold fire screen. I have had these doors for over two months now and I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes a fireplace with style!

I'm really happy with these fireplace doors. They are a dark antique brass, not gold colored. The handles had scratches on them, but the company sent replacements. The doors were a little uneven from top to bottom but with some tweaking, they are now only slightly uneven. and it is not noticeable. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. I like the bi-fold doors as they fold flat against the fireplace and take up less room than the other kind. It takes two people to install. It took my husband and I about an hour or so including reading the directions. They look really nice (see pictures).

Our doors were delivered very quickly, and were not difficult to install. We love the way they look and they function extremely well. This screens easily open to maintain the fire, and we love being able to shut the doors when the fire is out. It looks great and is great at keeping our heat from escaping . We have wanted fireplace doors for years and feel we made the right choice.

Overall these fireplace doors fit into my budget, which there is not much to choose from below $300. The doors were packaged really well to protect them in shipping, and were not that difficult to install. The antique brass finish looks great, and goes well with my bamboo floors and 1970's wood paneling. I especially liked the free shipping. I ordered them on a Wednesday night, and they were delivered the following Tuesday morning right before Christmas.

It was easy to install, seems to be built well and looks nice. The only complaint is that it did not come with enough insulation to keep the brass from discoloring.

Actual dimension requirements were not as represented by the company. It didn't work.

It took over 10 months on backorder but glad we waited.....it has sleek clean lines. Great job in the packaging. Delivery was prompt. I hired an outside company to install.

Very well packaged for delivery with all kinds of foam, straps and cardboard. However there was a small imperfection on the front that probably happened in the factory prior to shipping. Fairly easy to install but getting the special part I needed was not so easy.

This item is so pretty and fit my hearth perfectly. I’m so pleased with it.

Nice door.. despite all the packing it came with a few scratches. took a bit to Install but so far we are happy with product.

Handyman installed. Looks great on hearth and in room. Very pleased.

After spending hours installing this we realized it is chipped and dented in many places. I don’t have the energy to unmount it.
