Bought this for an exhisting heater that was worn out, perfect fit and working great!

If you're able to add a circuit breaker to your electrical panel on your own, this is an easy install. It took me a minute to wrap my head around installing a two pole 20 amp breaker with 12 gauge wire (always ran 240V with larger gauge), but that is all these heaters require in the amperage department, and 12 gauge wire is rated for 600 volts... so it is cheap and easy to run the wire. I put in the Cadet TH114 Digital Thermostat with it, and it works beautifully. The room holds a far more even temperature, rather than up and down with hot and cold. My family thinks the unit is quiet- certainly more than any space heater with a fan. The heater feels like a quality unit. It is well thought out- everything works together well; knock outs where they should be, room in the can for the wires, mounting screws and holes where they should be, etc. I'm about to order the identical set up for another bedroom. Also, I was concerned about just how cold it might get here in Montana and how I might handle it if I needed more heat (even though this unit throws a lot). I called tech support and spoke to Jordan (connected instantly, and he spoke English). The end result of that conversation is a great solution, if I need it- I can simply add another, smaller unit in parallel off the heater I just installed- so long as I stay beneath the rated watts/amps. That would be two heaters off one thermostat in a room. So I have some peace of mind now if I do need more heat due to a -20F winter. Overall I'm really happy with everything about this unit. Side note- the grill does get hot, as you would expect from a 2,250 watt heater, so if you have little ones they need to not be touching it.

The Cadet replacement heater assembly was straightforward to install. It seems slightly louder than the others in the house (a bit of a hum), but it heats well.

Easy installation! Why did I wait so long to replace the one that burned out??

It's great that a heater replacement is available at the reduced cost. The original failed by the squirrel cage fan shifting to the left and binding against the frame causing the overtemp to trip. I'd hoped the replacement was of a different design but it is not.

This replacement went into the old original housing easily and worked exactly as expected. Install only took a few minutes. It was great to pay for and only replace the broken part instead of having to buy an entire new unit.

We have 3 of these heaters in our cabin that have been in use for over 10 years. They are all still operating fine. I bought this one as a replacement if one ever wears out. This way I can be sure to have a replacement that will fit in same space in the wall. I have been pleased with them.

It was exactly what it said it was. The demensions were spot on and it was easy to replace with the broken one.

They just don't make them like they used to. I have a number of these that came with the house built in ~1985. One of the originals finally died and this is the second time I have had to replace it. The last one made just past the 5 year warranty while the original units are still running just fine.

It was exactly the same heater model that I had, which is 20 years old and needed replaced, so it fit perfectly and was easy to install yesterday, Dec. 18th, 2023. So a "perfect fit". The directions were simple and only two wires to hook up It is a little noisier than the other one, but so far is working well, and a good price. tw

It was just the insides of the heater that needed replaced. This worked good. You have to order online they don’t have them in the store. But thankfully it shipped to the house for free.
