Installation was the easiest part It is a basic 240v junction box you wire. The housing gives you a lot of versatility and creative freedom for mounting I mounted mine above existing baseboards instead of cutting them out The lid comes off very easily so you can clean and vacuum effortlessly It takes about 5 minutes to really start to feel the heat coming from it which I think is acceptable. Makes no noise at all. I would recommend spending just a little bit more money on the SoftHeat EBHN Series Double-Pole Integral 22 Amp End Cap Thermostat Kit. It connects to the side of the unit and you never have to worry about flipping a switch to turn it on. I have this in an 8x14 sun room and it is able to maintain low 60's inside easily when the temps outside are in the high 30s

This baseboard heater does not include a thermostat. It can only be wired from the one side only, and you must purchase either a left hand or right hand model - center wiring is not an option. The heater has no moving parts, and no fan, it uses convention to heat the room. A large tube is filled with a safe fluid and surrounded with heat fins. The fluid heats up and slowly releases the heat. The heater will continue to radiate heat once it reaches the required temperature as the fluid emits all the stored heat. The paint finish was a little rough, with an area missing paint. This area was visible when looking down on the heater.

Worth the extra the $'s. the heat is defused into the room evenly and the wall over the heater is not super as the previous unit. Very good after a months of use.

Installation was easy although the instructions weren't up to date. Unit works well.

Purchased product for an addition we are putting on our family room. Perfect fit -- great price.

I installed this product in my cabin as an additional heat source to the wood stove. It works great and helps maintain a warm and comfortable temperature in the upstairs area. It wasn't too difficult to install, but it does require a thermostat that must be purchased separately. It has a sleek low profile design so no worries with trying to hide it or design around it. For the price, this product is a hit!

Installation was pretty straight forward with little difficulty. Product did not work after I installed. Finally had my electrician look at it and he found a defective safety switch shutoff. Was going to order another but out of stock until December. Had electrician wire around switch but can't leave it unattended or on at night.
