The thought process behind the quick disconnect for cleaning is a good idea, however we shall see how long the connectors will last with daily usage.

I purchaed the almond toilet seat to match my new Kohler toilet and the match was perfect. The seat is sleek and adds a touch of modernity to my bathroom. I am very pleased with it.

Seat quality is good. Fitting to toilet base of an older unit is not quite perfect. Seat does not lay completely flat.

I am only recommending this Kohler product because it looked good when I received it. It was a good value and the quality seemed good. Unfortunately I never got to rate it appropriately or install it as it was not a good color match for my 25 year old toilet. I've also tried one in Biscuit, Almond, and just received it in Sandbar. Sandbar is close to the same color, but still a noticeable difference. Our home was 1 1/2 years old when we moved in, so I did not pick the colors. My only other option on-line that might work is Mexican Sand. But the on-llne color looks too dark. Instead, I may ask Home Depot if they have a number I can use to call Kohler directly to see if there are other colors available that are not on-line. Home Depot has been great in ordering 3 different toilet seats for me, as well as handling my returns......thank you so much.

We ordered this toilet seat to go with our new toilet. We have not yet installed either of them. We usually purchase the oak toilet seats, but that wouldn't fit with our new décor, so we just purchased the recommended matching seat. So far, we are happy. Just didn't do a 5 star rating since we haven't installed or used it yet.

The color was not a stocked item, and needed to be ordered on line. Ordering through Home Depot website was easy and efficient .

Do not want to,spend time reviewing toilet seats and do not want the spam in my folder. The next one like this I get will trigger all home depot mail,to get one the company blocked list.

Seat met our expectations. It was easy to install and wrks the way we wanted it to.

The fit was excellent as well as the installation instructions.

Looks good. Uses less water. Flushes rapidly. The first toilet was in pieces when it arrived. Had to return it to the store myself. Not too convenient. Replacement toilet arrived in 5 days.

Good looking and quality but could not hold still due to bad design. Ever bought another same brand one, works perfect.

UNPACKED TOILET SEAT AND SAW RUB MARKS FROM POOR PACKAGING - COULD NOT REMOVE THE RUB MARKS. SEAT DID NOT FIT SQUARELY ON THE TOILET BOWL.

My $20.00 wood toilet seats held up very well with the exception of the surface wearing off after many years. we purchased these which looked & matched very well. Only problem is I like a seat that stays still. The easy removal feature is it's downfall. The seat moves all over the place & constantly comes off. Even when my cat jumps from the seat to the sink it moves. The plastic screw nuts stripped after a week and the price was much more than I wanted to spend. I would not buy these again. One of the reasons I bought them was, they were made in the USA & it's very difficult to find something still made here. I also like to sit on the closed lid while getting dressed & I always feel like I'm going to fall through. With the wood seats I never had a problem & they are half the price.

Black wing nuts won't snug up, impossible to secure seat. Quite a few reviews on here cite the same or similar problems with install, mostly recent dates - earlier reviews (2008-9) don't seem to mention the same trouble. Wondering if Kohler changed fasteners to save money along the way? Bought it today, returning it tomorrow & probably NOT for another Kohler product. Disappointing, esp from a company that had been known for quality.

I am a female and do not do "repair" at all. However I was able to install this very easily and it fit perfectly!

Installation was easy and the color matched perfectly. The girl at the service desk who helped me with ordering this product was very knowledgable and place my order with no delays.

Black plastic wing-nut stripped out during installation. Impossible to tighten. Owned it less than two hours and it is going back to the store in about 10 minutes. Cheap plastic material makes for bad product with a name brand. Made in the USA, too.

This toilet seat has been loose from day one! Poor design from Kohler. How does one return a toilet seat?!

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Two weeks after installing left bolt was stripped. They replaced the bolt. Now a few months later, same problem, bolt is stripped again. Toilet seat was loose from day one. Am going to try to return it for a different model.

Nice looking toilet seat, but the lid will not stay open with a toilet seat cover on it. Not enough clearance at the hinges to use a cover. Also, the quick install nuts slip on the bolts so the seat will not stay tight on the toilet. Moves side to side.

It is very easy to install. The clean look is exactly what I would expect from Kohler

If you are interested in remaining seated on the toilet while using it, do not buy this product! The cheap plastic wingnuts never tighten to the underside of the toilet enough to hold the seat in place. A gentle touch of the seat knocks it completely loose. Not to mention the nuts get stripped during installation. A truly terrible product by Kohler.

Do not buy this toilet seat unless you want reinstalling it to become a daily chore. I had trouble with the picture instructions, as the seat was still very loose and slid off frequently. I read another user's review about holding the black plastic "nut" tight to the hole in the toilet before trying to screw in the screw and I was able to install the seat. However, it loosens pretty much daily. I now keep a screwdriver in my bathroom. After two weeks, I'm giving up and will try to return it. Very disappointed. I bought Kohler because it was a brand name I knew and thought it would be better than other brands.

After purchasing many toilet seats, I found one I love! Finally, one that is easy to install, clean and use. Most of all it is comfortable! I highly recommend it!

I bought a Kohler because I thought of the quality associated with the name. Apparently that does not extend to its toilet seats. While it was nice looking - its impossible to tighten the plastic nuts enough so they hold the seat in place. It moves all over the place. I just tried installing it (and I have installed my share of toilet seats) and the plastic nuts might as well not be there. Bought it this afternoon-returning it tonight!

The Kohler Cachet seat was the only seat that I was able to find in the round-front style and color that I needed. I thought it was a bit pricy but as always Kohler products mean quality.

Kohler has very good quality in all the products we have purchased.
