Good hitch. Once the holes were drilled, guide wire worked perfectly for feeding the bolts. I did grind off the loops, since tgere isn't a need for safety chains. I'm also getting the front raised two inches, the hitch is sitting pretty low.

Easy to install, only took about 45 minutes.

Fit perfect no cutting of the plastic skirt needed on 09 ram 1500

The hitch mounted easy for me. I am a very mechanical person but, it seems that it would be and easy install for anyone that can use a drill. 2 of the holes must be drilled the other 2 are mounted to the tow hook mount holes. Don't forget safety glasses.

Thr front mount hitch came without mounts to attach to fram of vehicle and the front mounts for the plow did not work for Hitch

The only flaw in this product was the instructions that insisted I needed a 17/32" drill bit to drill the holes in the frame for the 1/2" bolts. 17/32 drill bits are like unicorns or honest politicians; more fictional than real. I wasted half a day travelling to six different hardware and auto parts stores seeking one. In the end a 1/2" bit coupled with the run out of my old drill worked just fine. Curt makes excellent hitches and I'm happy to pay a bit more for a quality American made product. I just wish they'd sweated the details a bit more with this one. ( The Snap On truck doesn't make house calls in my neighborhood. )

Manuel that comes with this shows an installation method where tow hooks can be kept. However, it is not possible. Factory tow hooks can not be used with this hitch

Arrived on schedule. Excellent quality product, parts and instructions. Curt is the best, this was my 3rd for family vehicles and they all fit perfect and handle towing, plowing and a winching easily.
