I get so many compliments on my new front door! I love that the light comes through but I can still maintain my privacy.

After waiting almost a month to get this door, I wish I had heeding the warnings about the peeling paint and bought it somewhere else. It arrived with two areas of paint scratched off. Then, our contractor friend who we watched handle the door with kid gloves still couldn’t install the thing without causing even more damage to this terrible paint job. He used to build/paint doors for a living and said this type of paint needs to cure for at least two months. It should come pre-cured then because this is ridiculous. So now I’ve got to delicately sand and repaint ten spots on my brand new door. The door style is exactly what I wanted but it’s not worth the hassle. Big regret.

One week after the door was installed. Paint was peeling off around each window

This door made the perfect mid-mod update to my entry. It is quiet, well insulated and weatherproofed. Very beautiful, lets a lot of light into the entry without sacrificing privacy and security. There was even a little bottle of touch up paint in case of dings during installation.
