Nice door, but one didn't match. Four doors had 5 panel v-grooveboards and one door that I purchased had 4 panel v-groove boards. Not completely noticeable, but there nonetheless.

These knotty alder doors are beautiful. We bought the first door to install in our master bathroom where there was no door originally leading into our bedroom. The door comes unfinished and I stained it with a Varathane Stain+Poly in a Dark Walnut Semi-Gloss. It turned out beautiful so we went back and ordered eight more to replace the other plain boring builder grade hollow core doors in our home so that they match. These are easy to install and are loaded with character that are sure to turn heads at your next home gathering. They look like a piece of furniture rather than just a boring door. These doors are not your average cheep slab doors, these are quality solid core doors that can be stained to match your personal preference or even just sealed with a clear poly as their natural beauty is just as good. Compliments galore pushing these through the store at HD after picking them up from the special order desk. The knotty alder definitely makes a statement. Would definitely recommend these.

Seems to be a good quality door for the price. We really enjoy the look the doors added to our house. On the bad note the hinge pockets were not completely routed out so I had to correct that before installing them. This was the 2nd order of doors that we had bought. First batch were fine, no problems. This batch was fine except for the hing pockets. Must of been a Friday when they got assembled

Ordered these doors for a barn door in my master bedroom and they worked great. I only had a few minor issues and truthfully I expected some of them. The stiles and rails are veneered knotty alder over solid pine. I wish they used LVL instead to lessen the chance of the warping later on. So far they have not warped. The panels though are solid knotty alder. I can tell because you could see through a small crack in one knot. While I expected some knots I didn't expect the big ones. One knot was over 5 inches long and a couple more were around 3 inches. But they were filled with black epoxy and look almost natural. We stained the doors and the manufacture didn't book match the wood and veneers so there are obvious color differences on the throughout the door. But what do you expect for the price. Overall I am very happy with the doors

Doors were perfect, casing and hinges great. Clear polyurethane finish and both doors a beautiful. Picture was before the clear coat.

Stained and added iron décor to make a grand entry to our cellar wine room. Love the outcome!

This door looks good but the quality of the construction is not that well done. It is put together with staples and the door trim had come loose when I picked mine up. I may send it back as I have not yet finished it and try to get a door just like this one that has better quality in workmanship.

The doors were dirty and had hand prints smudged into the wood on several doors that required sanding before staining and finishing the doors. In addition, it took 2 months for all of the doors to be delivered from the date the doors were ordered. Very Frustrating experience!

The price was less than I could find in town or without a big shipping cost. We haven't installled it yet but looks great. Be carefull if you have to go back while doing your online ordering that you don't get your pick up store changed. I ended up driving to the other side of town.

This is a beautiful door. It comes prehung with matching alder jambs. It's solid core and impressed me with the high quality. We got 14 of these for our new house. They apparently shipped from California to our Florida location, and arrived with nary a scratch. Highly recommended!

I am opening a Hawaiian Shave Ice, Ice Cream Parlor here in Los angeles in early 20, and this door fits perfect with the interior, in my efforts to turn the inside into an Hawaiian Shack look. I love this door, very solid, sturdy and beautiful. I will post pics later if an edits are allowed. Merry Christmas

I ordered two 36" doors. They came in but were defective. One had a panel split from top to bottom, the other had a panel not all the way into the stile so you could see daylight through the door. Reordered and both were damaged in shipment. I now have a 3rd set of doors on order. What should have been a 2 week project has now been six weeks. The problem is not with Home Depot, it is with their supplier and their poor performance. Poor quality inspection and poor packaging for shipment.

Solid, quality doors! Will purchase for whole house

These doors are really beautiful and pretty inexpensive. Initially I was a little wary of ordering doors online that I could not see a sample of in stores, so I had to look at the Masonite display to see what they may look like. These are $340 cheaper than the Masonite ones, since they are unfinished I assume (?) Also, no one had reviewed these online so I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered the doors with the frame and they came with nice oil rubbed bronze hardware (hinges) and were pre-bored for doorknobs. My boyfriend talked me into wood (I'm a painter and thought paintable doors would be easier) and I'm glad he did because they were so pretty even unfinished. I used an oil based polyurethane and triple coated them and they are awesome! They are really nice quality, heavy, true (no warping), easy to hang and really quite surprising for the price. I couldn't be more pleased. Tips! Finish them on sawhorses, not vertically - the knots and cracks will hold your stain/varnish and drip out and down if done upright. Make sure they are absolutely dry before you flip to the other side, and put soft rags under the already finished side so you don't ruin your new work! Sand by hand - with these there is no need for a power sander. Also, they are a wood veneer and it's pretty easy to get overzealous and burn through that with a power sander. Overall,very pleased, great great price, beautiful doors, and happily surprised at the good quality in a time where that sometimes seems to be going downhill.
