Buyer beware, the product does not match the sample piece you order. We had water damage and needed to replace a section of our floor. This is the same product we bought in 2013, but the dye lot had changed. HOWEVER, the sample piece arrived and still matched our old flooring perfectly. Home Depot would not hold the vendor accountable though. We had to replace the entire first floor of our home because it was so far from a match. The finish is no longer low gloss, but very flat matte and shows every single bit of dirt. Also, beware if it gets glued and glue residue or mallet rubber gets left on the floor, it's impossible to get off and the floor looks dirty. Do yourself a favor and do not buy Home Legend products.

This stuff is amazing! We love the light color, that is what first drew our attention. I liked the amazing durability. I tried my best to scratch the store sample and I could not. Even after I scratched the surface with a screwdriver, because it is solid bamboo, the scratch just faded to the point that it was not noticeable. The only challenge was the installation. We did not want to go through the expense or toxicity of glue, we wanted our flooring nailed. Our first installer could not figure out how to do it. His fancy nail gun would either split the flooring, or the nail would not go through. We later found a handyman (not a flooring specialist) who simply used a cordless finish nailer to nail the floors down. It worked great. The floors look great and are solid. Here is what is even more amazing. Our air conditioner drain line clogged and the cut out switch failed so the drip pan overflowed, went through a ceiling and ended up on this flooring. The flooring was submerged in standing water. No problem. We simply cleaned up the water and the flooring looked like new. No swelling, no noticeable discoloration. This is an amazingly durable product that looks great. The manufacturer was also really helpful and supportive. While we used a smaller nail than recommended on the instructions, we ended up with exceptional results. I highly recommend it.

This flooring is easily Scratched by minimal movement of any object and any amount of of water/moisture causes it to discolor and peel the the top surface of the flooring.

Have had this installed for a few years. Opted to nail down which worked well although i needed a special cleat nailer. I used this in my kitchen. Cons: I regret getting such a dark finish. Shows scratches , crumbs , water spots a lot. Impossible to keep clean. Also expands and contracts quite a bit with the seasons.

I just have it installed, it is absolutely beautiful I love it.

We have had this in our home over a year now. I specifically waited to review because I was most concerned about its " actual" durability because of its thickness. That being said, its hard stuff!!! Within the first 6 months of it being down my wife dropped a frying pan on the floor. The pan was dented and not a scratch was on the floor. It looks fantastic when finished and is easy for any diy- er to put down. Very much recommended. By the way, I have 2 children under 3 and they have been unable to warp the floors with their milk and juice spills. Make sure you use a bamboo nailer and test an area before installing to test your psi.

this material was cut in several places and shredded on the edges. the "coating" on the top has already began to peel off.....very sad
