The Brooke Etagere is absolutely gorgeous. The heavy, dark brown iron spindles that spiral on the facing side contrast beautifully with the slightly distressed wood shelves stained in a medium walnut. The look is very warm and very chic. I love it. This is a large etagere with six shelves. It's slightly taller than 77 inches, 36 and a half inches wide, and 18 inches deep. The upper two shelves are a bit smaller at about 10 inches deep. There are two extra duty support braces that look like a large "X". One support brace attaches to the back of the bottom set of legs, and the other support brace attaches to the back of the top set of legs. Each brace is fastened with four "short" screws and a tool is included for convenience. After both sets of legs are secured to the "X" shaped brace, the main, middle shelf needs to be put in place. This main shelf is the base for the top shelves to fasten to for safety. Four "long" screws will attach underneath the shelf to the top of the bottom set of legs. *When positioning this main shelf, make sure the upper facing side is positioned so the the drilled holes for securing the upper shelf are toward the BACKSIDE. The upper set of legs will then attach to the main shelf and be very secure. The assembly is so simple, because it fixes easily even if you happen to attach a part backward. It only took twenty minutes to put everything together. The Brooke Etagere is simply stunning.

Each board has some weight to it. And the rustic look gives it a nice warm vibe while you read your books

This product literally came BEAT TO HECK. Every single shelf was busted. All had chunks off the corners of the shelves and one had a huge split down the middle of the whole shelf. The good news is HD made return super easy.

INHALE! Open that box to the wonderful aroma of walnut! Reminded me of my father's workshop! EASY PEASY! So easy to put together! One person could do it. Instructions weren't needed at all. It's easier to raise the top frame onto the base before putting in the wood shelves. LOOKS GREAT! What a great addition to my craft room! STYROFOAM! Get your vacuum out because that white stuff is all over the box and wood. We vacuumed some of the styrofoam before we took out any of the pieces. ENJOY! The six shelves are so useful, sturdy and look great! I'm so glad that we have this shelving unit!

Shelving unit was exactly what I was looking for even though I knew it had to be assembled. The instructions were clear and all the pieces were there except the rods and bars are bent in such a way that they don't line up and the screws will not join the pieces together. The shelves are stained with a chemical that is overpowering and I had to put a mask on in order to repackage the unit. Not worth the money or the time. It's going back.
