Beautiful! Easy to install. Fan and light features exceeded my expectations.

Nice looking hood - more powerful than the unit it replaced and easier to clean. It was also fairly easy to install since I already had an outside vent; but it was extremely difficult to connect it to the vent since it lacked a transition duct and I had to improvise with a separate purchase from an outside source. Also, the compact fluorescent and LED bulbs did not work properly thus I had to use halogen lamps, which are a bit more expensive and run hotter.

We've only used it a few times. It seems to work as advertised, All in all, a very nice unit.

Loudest range hood I've ever heard, i would take it back but i destroyed the box it came in prior to using it.

Nice and quiet at the lower two speeds. Noticable but reasonable at the upper 2. Lights are good an bright. Skip the suggested butterfly damper for round ducts, it makes too much noise.

Other than the fact that the fan speeds below high wouldn't work when we first purchased the vent, the vent has been great. Broan paid for an electrician to fix the problem.

I installed this hood vent along with a gas stove top for http://pamstacticalkitchen.com three months ago and waited to hear back from Pam about how she liked it. It went in smoothly and looks great against her slate backdrop. Pam loves the amount of air it moves. A tremendous upgrade for her. I expected a better product from Broan at his price. There is a 1/8" gap between the side panels and the bottom light cover, due to poor stamping during manufacture. Also, at anything other than low speed, air comes out of the non ducted vent on top of the unit even though mine is ductyed to the outside. I guess because the diverter is a poor fit. Also, the unit is not square. The front of the unit must be shimmed down in order for the bottom to be level and the backdraft lid to function properly.

The range hood was not difficult to install as a replacement. It looks good in the kitchen and the fan options and lights work just as I had hoped. I'm so satisfied!

We like the looks and performance of this range hood, but it didn't last very long. We have the unit installed in a vacation home, used only a few times a year. A lot of people apparently have had the same issue we have with the controller assembly going out (replacement part is $184). Also, ours has plastic springs to hold the filters in - the new units have aluminum, so apparently this has been a problem for many people as well. All of the plastic springs have now broken on our unit. We expected better quality and durability for the amount of money that we spent on this product.
