This was easy to install and looks good in my entry.

I like these lights alot! They're a little pricey for the size but definitely add the modern rustic glamour I was looking for! I used them to replace the old flush ceiling lights in my galley kitchen. Also the light bulbs used give that yellow light instead of the way too bright flouresecent.

Exactly what I was hoping for. I've had it for about a month now and I couldn't be happier with the look. I didn't need the chain because I was installing it flat against the ceiling. The directions were a bit confusing, but I finally figured it out. Looks beautiful. The brushed nickel looks great on my newly painted white ceiling and gray walls. Shipping to the store was easy and free. The associate asked me if I wanted to take a look in the box at the product before I left the store in case anything was broken in shipping (since there was a lot of glass involved). Item was packed very well so nothing was broken.

I just remodeled a large walk-in closet / dressing room. The previous owner had an old $3 glass shade connected to pull chain that was tied to a 6 foot string. The string ran across the ceiling, though a pulley and down the wall where they finally tied a large metal washer at the end so they could pull it to turn the light on and and pull it again to turn the light off. (SERIOUSLY)! I wanted to correct the problem once and for all so I installed a proper wall switch and then this beautiful Bretton Heirloom Light Fixture. Using three (3) candelabra style LED bulds, we went from Totally Tacky to Tasteful & Elegant in minutes. This is a VERY nice fixture that anyone should be proud to have in their home.

Very solid light fixture! We are planning to install this fixture in our new (Spanish style) home. The plan is to flush mount into the ceiling. Packaging is extremely well-done - no surprises. Notable - the package is rather heavy and one can tell upon removing the fixture from the box - the weight is quite real. Meaning - this is a SOLID metal product. It's not a tin-can fixture. Additional chain is provided in case your ceilings are high. Matches well with the fixture. Planning to install candelabra LED light bulbs with this light. HIGHLY recommend to those who seek authenticity and a fixture that will last for a LONG time. Quality is noticeable.

This review is on the Sea Gull Bretton 3-Light Heirloom Bronze Semi Flush-mount. If you've read my other reviews you will know that I love elegant light fixtures from Sea Gull. This one is no different in fact it may be my favorite! It is very well made and looks stylish and fantastic. It's flush-mounted in our hallway. The install is as easy as it gets especially if you are replacing an existing fixture. I was torn as to where to hang it so I have since ordered 3 more so i can hang them everywhere. Can't go wrong. I highly recommend.

Good to great! I have many fixtures from Sea Gull Lighting company, this one adds to the line... Well designed! A little bit more bulky then anticipated based on measurements, but fits well my idea of the style that I expected from this light. Installation was easy and smooth. The most troublesome part was to bend chain links for attaching them properly: too easy to scratch. Use flat pliers and some paper or cloth to protect coating. Before assembling and wiring, adjust mounting screws and check if canopy seats well. 40 watts bulbs (LED in my case) might be too bright (IMHO). Use smaller wattage or install with dimmer to control. Wiring was straightforward. The result is satisfying! Happy DIYing!

This is a beautiful light. The simple lines and lack of fluff make it a nice blend of modern and classic. It is quite heavy- feels like it is well made. Very pleased.

It was birthday gift for my mom to replace a similar one with an outdated finish. It looks wonderful in their foyer.

Light makes a good appearance. Was put off by the light not having included bulbs. Being a $100 light they should have.

Would have given 5 stars if I had been able to get the larger size, the 9” size. The 7” was too small. I like the overall look of it, and would have used them for sure. But the larger one is unavailable.

Lamp itself is good quality and looks good. The end of the cord did not come with a plug-in installed and did not have a plug in the box. The lamp was given as a gift so we had to buy a plug end and install it ourselves
