[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bad boy changed my life. I used to drill concrete with a simple impact drill, and I hated it. I used to dread the work. But now I love it. Fast, easy holes, good tapcon fits. I used this to chisel 4" of concrete off a foundation wall to get below grade, and I've used it to core a 3" hole for plumbing.

I had been using another brand hammer drill for a number of years and was never really satisfied with the effectiveness or power. I had purchased a Bosch hammer drill to use at the school where I was employed and instantly realized the difference in overall performance. I purchased this Bosch hammer drill for my personal use and was duly impressed as I was before, some 12 years ago. Its power and performance are far greater than my previous hammer drill.

I have always strived to only purchase tools and machines that only have the highest quality cause I don't want the down time on a faulty tool. The Bosch drill has not be disappointing in the least. Also purchased the three jawed chuck accessory that allows me to use smaller hammer drills and large bore wood bits. Lots of power and no problems even with extensive use. Fantastic purchase!

I used it to drill through block and cement walls does a great job no problem at all

Purchased a month 1/2 ago for installing /moving my automotive hoist. I have drilled around 100 3/4" holes so far not a lick of trouble and walks through concrete. I am very satisfied with my purchase

I purchased this hammer drill only after reading the reviews. I found that the reviews of manufacturers products tell more about their product than any advertisement. I take into account a few bad reviews of any product. The customer thought that the product should be able to exceed the limits of the power tool. But after reading the Bosch reviews, I had no doubt in my mind that this hammer drill would work for my task at hand. And after using it for a month or so, it is one of the best buys that I have ever made. Excellent workmanship and lightweight. I didn't think that it would have the power needed for the job because of its' weight. I was surprised at it's capabilities. Bulldog Extreme drill bits make the job much easier also. They may cost a bit more but are worth it in the long run.

I purchased this unit to help drill anchor holes into concrete to tether my deck to in a recent deck reno. With this tool I can drill the appropriate hole in seconds, whereas the conventional hammer drills were averaging 20 minutes per hole...one of the best tools I have ever purchased

I use this unit to go through many inches of concrete and to perforate brick joints for easier cleaning. The 11253VSR is light so I can achieve a lot more in less time.

I used this tool all of 2 days set (27) 1/2" anchors 3" depth and then 6 more the next day. The collar broke off but it was still usable then the chuck failed. I replaced the chuck and it is still usable. Not the quality I have come to expect from BOSCH.

Awesome tool, easy to use! Haven the quick change chuck makes using diffrent use bits easy as and you never have problem of the driill sliping in the chuck, also been able to chizel by changing the bit and setting is awesome! 

This might be the best money I ever spent on a tool! As an owner of a home with concrete block walls and a concrete block garage, I struggled for years using a hammer-drill to do the simplest of things (hang mirrors, pictures, shelving, ect.). My house is old and the block would dull masonry bits after 1 or 2 holes or less. The Bosch Bulldog Extreme is like a hot knife going through butter. I recently added a large front porch and was able to drill hundreds of holes through wood into concrete and concrete block with just 2 bits, without sharpening them, and they are still useable. I could drill a 5/16" hole 4" deep in a matter of seconds with very little pressure. It is simply amazing. My only regret is I should have bought it sooner. I own several other Bosch tools and I now understand that Bosch is the brand that I will trust for a very hard working tool that will last.

Performed very well as a hammer drill...efficient and easy to use.

I have been using this drill for about 2 years and wow as a hammering drill it rocks. I install electric strikes in cement filled door frames and this just blowes away my other drill from a competitor which by the way died with less than a year on it with the same work done. Drilling thru floors is a breeze and smooting rough block walls to mount card reader is no problem. You need one this is the best value I use up to a 1 1/8" masonary bit with no problem.

This rotary hammer has the power when you need it. Plus variable speed provides nice versatility. Owned this drill for a couloir years and it works just as good as day 1.

I used a small regular chuck hammer to put in tapcons for a plywood floor over concrete. About 400 screws. In the end, I had to replace the chuck and had to drill extra holes because it would hit a stone and not get through. I bought the SDS with hammer and no rotation so I could use it to chisel off tiles from my shower floor. It worked like a dream. I got this pistol grip version so it wasn't as long as the D handle version making it easier to move around.

We used it to install exterior lights and railings into stone and concrete. We drilled our holes within seconds. Our railing installer brought a large D-grip drill that could not compare. "Bulldog" is a very appropriate name for this drill! We are very pleased.

I use the Bosch Bulldog almost daily when it involves mounting electricial equiptment on hard surfaces. I would not use anything else because I hate to struggle, just to get the job done right. No battery drill can compare to the Bosh Bulldog! Qualified Electrical contractor that gets the job done right the first time!
