I bought this product mainly to cut down sun glare into our 4' x 4' window where breakfast and lunch were regularly served. This product has nice and practical design; any reasonably handy person can easily assemble it in an hour or so. Once installed, its 2" wide shutter blades were oriented almost horizontally so that a good portions of sunlight can be blocked before entering our window but still allow house residents unblocked exterior view. Filtered sunlight felt soft and gentle and our room remains comfortably bright.
