Extremely difficult to put together. Gadgets that lock the pieces in place come off at the slightest move. Whole thing collapsed when we were installing it. Worst product I have gotten from HD

First off, a 3rd grade art class did the assembly drawings. Parts were not labeled or numbered. Missing screws. Some parts not pre-drilled. the louver frames don't slide into anything as pictured. I don't recall seeing an 'assembly required' notice. My educational degree is in mechanical drawing and when I opened this disassembled box of parts and found the instructions, I started laughing and boxing it all back up to return to Home Depot. As a Technical Illustrator in the Air Force during Vietnam, a drawing and instructions like these would have got me court martialed. It achieves the effect I wanted, but at the cost of frustration. Listed as a 5 foot Bahama shutter but it's actually 69 inches NOT 60 inches. Keep that in mind when planning your project. It came with an additional center support arm that was useless, even it they supplied the mounting bracket and pre drilled the holes in the frame, you'd have to mount it in the middle of the glass window. I'm partially disabled and had to hire a savey handyman to figure out this very awkward bit of workmanship (?) Beauty-Mark owes me a refund for labor and materials.

horrible...hard and time consuming to put together and very poor instructions. Product is thin and flimsey, doubt it will hold up long. some slats were cut slightly longer than others meaning they are bowed once put together. HUGE waste of both money and time

One of the worst products I have purchased for the price. Difficult and time consuming to assemble. Screw holes didn't match up. Having to screw in 33 slats was ridiculous. Mitered corners didn't hold with the plastic fasteners. Don't purchase this product unless you have LOTs of time. It took me 3 hours to assemble a 6 foot wide awning. I'm hoping the contractor can get it installed without difficulty. If not, back to the store!
