This lamp looks really nice, both when it's on and off. Unfortunately, no matter how sunny it's been, or how many days I let it charge, it never runs for more than 3-4 hours. The description states there's a "convenient exterior high/low brightness switch", but the only switch I've found on it is for on/off. Am I missing something? As nice at it looks, if it doesn't run for longer, it's not much use and I can't recommend it.

I'm very pleased with the light output. I have it set on the low setting. My location is partially obscured by trees to the south so they don't have optimum charging. But when they come on at night they are very bright! And they are still shining, albeit dim, in the morning when I leave for work. The photos show (shortly after sunset) facing south, towards house where you see the trees blocking the sun, and to the north with the open field. I'm happy I got these and my driveway is very welcoming when I come home in the dark. My only con would be tightening the nut in the mounting option I chose. I didn't have a driver or wrench shaped right to get it quite tight.

These lights were purchased with the intention of lighting my patio area. They're well suited for that, The area by the lights are nicely lit, not to bright with the lights are on the low setting. Since they are solar, there is no wiring and installation couldn't be easier. I left the lights charging, without putting the lights on, for a week before use. The first night, they stayed very bright till sunrise the next morning. After charging the next day, their performance that night was considerably shortened. After 5 hours the light produced was significantly reduced. I believe the November sun being in the southern sky, and my mounting location caused this poor performance. Overall I'm happy with their performance.

Light not bright enough

The installation went well. I charged it as instructed. It works well while it works…it does not illuminate all night.

Over priced. After a full day of sun, lights barely come on at all. Very disappointed

It was very easy to assemble and put on my existing light post. Drilled some holes to match up the new ones and it works great!! It isn’t overly bright, but enough to light the driveway as needed. Very pleased.

Nice looking outdoor solar lamp

Purchased two of these less than a year ago. They never stayed on for that long- maybe an hour to 90 minutes after dusk right after installation. I though that maybe they would get better with more daylight happening. I was entirely wrong. They now stay on for less than 15 minutes after dusk. One is dark before the sky is. I cant wait to find out how much they want to charge me for new batteries

Product had a 1 yr warranty, and after one year they stopped working

Comes on bright enough but after full exposure to FL sun for a week, just like the pole version I bought at same time it isn't much more than a dim glow within a very short time. Disappointed doesn't cover it... I'd return it if it weren't such a hassle. What's with Home Depot selling such shoddy battery powered products? Not happy here.

I spect better quality solar lights stayed on only like three hours

The lights are in direct sunlight more than 8 hours a day and the lights don't last 8 hours

The nature power Bayport solar post lamp worked out well at the end of my driveway. It has a bright light to light up the end of drive. It is a very nice lamp.

Box appeared to have been open before and styrofoam inserts were crumbling and leaving pieces everywhere. Hardware to attach lamp to base was not in the box and instructions didn’t identify the nut size and pitch which made it harder to find a proper replacement. I followed the initial charging instructions and the lamp is in a place with direct sunlight for most of the day but it still seems to last only for a few hours at night.

This solar lamp provides a nice amount of light that lasts several hours.

The lights look nice and the build quality seems ok though the cast metal is thin. I like that there are 3 mounting options. I got these out and mounted them the day after I received them; I allowed them to charge for 3 days (manual requires 2). They looked great when I first turned them on, the next night I took my dog for a walk just as it was getting dark, by the time I got back to my house one was out and the other was very dim. Checking on it over the next few days, the better one gets just over an hour of light, the other only about 15 minutes...far from the advertised 8-10 hours. They obviously did not meet expectations and are getting returned. Another item of note is that mine do not have the advertised hi/low selector, only an on/off switch, but the number on the box matches the webpage. Yes I did charge them for an initial 3 days before turning them on. I live in the Mojave desert and these are not shaded at all during the day, so pretty much the most sun they could possibly get.

My second pair,the first are still working great many years later.

I have two of these from 2016 they work great. The new one will not stay on, I let it charge for over a week and it is in the same spot as the other two that still work great.

Excellent choice in lamps. It had 3 attachments for different posts. Worked well right out of the box. When I need another replacement lamp, I'll purchase this type again.

Only one stays on for half the night. Looks good however functionality is below my expectations

The light only stays on about 2hours after dark, they are dim light and die.
