Simple installation.

These fit exactly on our outdated smoke detector bases, recommend for this type of replacement.

The reason for the score 3 is because I could not use them I needed to order the hardwired ones.

Originally was sent in correct model. It was only battery operatedand mine are hardwired. Yes, I repeated the model number many times.It was not your service clerk. He was very nice.Finally got it all worked out, and installed

Csnt connect cables to it

It was perfect and replaced an old existing one without I have to do much of anything.

I did not know this model is for battery only. the model number was identical to what is replacing which is both AC and battery back-up. If it was only for battery use, I had a better option like lasting 10 years.

Unfortunately I had to return it. It wasn’t the model number that I needed.

These are not what I wanted.I wanted 1204 or equivalent, this is what came up on the Home Depot website so I ordered 8 of them and they are not equivalent, will not plug in or mount to existing mounts, they are not linked together, they are not even close to being the same item. I did a quick review of what was sent to me and everyone indicates they are crap.Very Very dissatisfied customer!!!!

Just what we were looking for.

This is GARBAGE!! After only three months in our cheap apartment, they started to go off in the middle of the night for NO reason what so ever over the months one by one and would not stop so we removed them. So now here we are with no smoke alarms because these cheap things would not shut up and stop going off when there is no smoke at all! One of them went off over my vape! (Although I could actually stop it from beeping at that time) Today I put a battery back in one of them and I could hear an extremely loud buzzing noise. I tried to make it beep with the test button and it didnt work. These are Garbage! I cannot believe a company would make such cheap stuff that is suppose to save peoples lives. But BUY if you want to go get a new one every couple months.

They sent me the wrong part number. So even though the sensor looked the same, the way it attached to the base was different, effectively making it useless

Just didn't like

Brand new smoke detectors already 2 years old and I haven’t even used them! Bought these to replace old. Oh well. For as little as I paid for them I guess 8 years left isn’t too bad. Disappointed though.

I will start out with good (4) heading toward excellent (5). Have not had long enough. With this type of equipment, if it fails to work I probably will never know.
