The silver finish exceeded expectations and is easy to maintain. The door width fit the space as advertised. The strike plate was difficult to fit to the shower base mainly due to rounded edges of the fiberglass shower enclosure and the aluminum fouling the grinding wheel. Installation fixed leakage problem of door it replaced. In use for a month and has met expectations. Like the open feel of the semi-framed clear glass door.

The door work out fine! It would be easier if the door was assemble !

Nice unit. Not exactly pleased with way the bottom seal/sweep attaches to glass door. Overall though happy with the purchase.

The unit was easy to install except for hanging the door. Doing it by myself was a chore but I got it done. Sure beats the old shower curtain!!!

I would have rated it a five if there was a gasket on the hinge side of the door and a stronger magnet on the closure.

Wow what a great buy. We installed it on a small shower in my kids room and it came out great. Installation was not extremely hard but 2 people made it easier. Very happy with the purchase.

Door looks good and functions well and I am overall pleased with the finished product (in use about a month now). Clean look and no leaks. Had some trouble with the installation (it seems that the hinge-side rail came from the factory 1/4 inch too long, so would not properly support the glass). Basco technical support did not call back. Suggest that you get this only if you are prepared to make modifications.

Fairly easy to assemble. Just needed to read the directions a couple of times to understand some sections. I allowed the base plate to adhere overnight before attempting to install the upper side rails to avoid knocking the base plate out of place and smearing the silicone. The door looks really nice installed. I chose the obscure glass since it was being installed on an unattractive fiberglass shower. I would have chosen the clear glass for a nice tile shower. I am very pleased with the product.
