Leaking quick connect
Have had this faucet for several years. Just discovered a water leak from the quick connect fitting, disappointing to say the least.

Water to Faucet connection defective in just about a year.
To make it short, we purchased this kitchen faucet on Jan 20th, 2020 where our plumber installed it shortly after. As of April 1, 2021, the connection from water to the faucet is defective causing extensive water damage to our under the sink cabinet, our wood floors and even to the restaurant below us. So this now, $200 faucet is costing $1000's in damages. The plumber returned to say that the white plastic connector is just garbage and we are lucky it lasted this long. - 1.2 years???? I always thought Kohler was good brand but this will be the last time I even think about buying their products. When can manufactures go back to making items that last or at least don't cause 1000s in damages?

Leaked a lot of water, twice in 5 years
For the 2nd time in 5 years, I've had this faucet leak a large amount of water under my sink and caused damage. Each time, it's been where the copper supply pipe from the bottom of the unit connects to the braided hose. There's a plastic connection that's "easy" to istall because it clicks into place, but that connection that fails. Bad design.

This was easy to install. I like the pull down feature, I think its easy to use than a pull out faucet. The flow rate is good. Better than I expected, since my house has a well and low water pressure. The sprayer is powerful, and better than expected. The spray pattern is sort of an elliptical shape. I like the fact that cold is forward and hot is rearward and a warm mix is straight up for the handle position. My last faucet had hot straight up. The one feature I don’t like is that the sprayer setting doesn't reset to normal stream when the water is turned off. If you turn off the water while on The spray setting, the next time person using the sink is splattered and surprised when the water comes on from the spray setting. This really annoys my wife. Make sure to check this feature before buying a faucet.

The sprayer button started to fail after 14 months, just outside of the warranty. The water will only come out if you hold the button down, if not it reduces to a small trickle. I'm really disappointed in the faucet. I'm replacing it with a Moen!

This was very easy to install replacing a previous faucet and separate sprayer. I like that the soap dispenser is a top fill so you don't have to get under the sink to unscrew it to refill the dispenser. I like the intensity of the spray.

This one has a nice design and seems to be manufactured well. Installed very easy. After installation, I was disappointed by the flow rate of the faucet. After a day or two digging around on the web, I did find out where the flow restrictor was and I was able to remove it (and the anti-backflow valve). They are both in the quick-connector. Here's some advice: if you're not concerned with saving water and want a strong flow, remove these two items BEFORE you install the faucet. It's much easier then. They are both in the larger plastic portion of the quick connector. The larger plastic part screws apart and the bits inside can be pushed out easily.

This replacing an old faucet that seized in one position. The installation was very easy and just to make sure that I did it right I took if off and reinstalled it a second time. This faucet is well designed and has given my kitchen a subtle update. The finish is great and stays clean for a long time where if it does start to look dirty a quick wipe with a damp towel is all it takes.

Disappointed with this faucet. I installed with a new kitchen 3 years ago this month and a few weeks ago noticed a leak in the faucet. I haven't had a lot of luck tracking down exactly what is leaking. Could be the mixing valve or one of the connections in the pull out hose assembly. I see it only has a one year warranty, but just sent Kohler an email. Lets see if they can help fix it. Is it unrealistic to expect a faucet to last many years? It must be, because nearly every faucet I have purchased in recent history has a problem after only a few years.

I chose this faucet for it's clean lines and single handle. It has just been installed but I can say it does have rubber washers, not plastic, it is quiet, the sprayer pulls down easily. The neck height makes it easier to wash/rinse larger items. It comes with a soap dispenser which I did not use.

This faucet is great. Only slightly disappointed that the faucet head doesn’t pull itself back perfectly every single time, but the other functions seem to be so much better than competitors that it is still worth it. Love the spray it has.

I'll start by saying I love the way this faucet works. It's magnetic retraction works perfectly every time, and there are very few of this type of faucet that do that well. I agree with other reviewers that the spray is strong, but that is fine once you are used to it as it is very good at blasting food off a pot. Again, as others have said, the soap dispenser is a bit quirky. It does drip soap, but the answer to that is simply to dilute the soap a bit with water -- no more drips. My main problem is that after 2-1/2 years my faucet has been showing increasing ugly stains. The stains are dark and are not mineral build-up. You can see them but cannot feel them. I called Kohler and sent them photos. First they told me to try several different cleaning products. Those didn't work. Then I was told that I must have used a harsh cleaning product on it and they offered me 25% off a replacement eschutcheon plate, which is where the stain is the worst. Unfortunately there is some staining on the rest of the faucet as well, and of course, there is the cost of the plumber to do the reinstallation. I can state that I have never used anything on that faucet that I have not also used on the sink - and the sink is a 28-year-old stainless one that still looks fine. Somehow it seems a no-brainer that you should be able to clean a kitchen sink and faucet simultaneously with the same products. I think my photos will speak for themselves.

I chose this faucet for a customer's kitchen for two reasons: Because of the good reviews; and the Kohler name. Their design is really good, along with very simple installation design. Better than many of the competing brands. However, there is one fatal flaw in this faucet, and perhaps others on the market. There are water flow-restrictors inside the main hose. After I installed it according to all the instructions, I turned on the faucet only to see nothing better than a good trickle of water. I asked the customer if they have low water pressure? They answered NO, our pressure is great! I double checked all hoses, rechecked the fittings to see they weren't over tight. No change. Next, I called customer service and after trouble-shooting over the phone for 10 minutes, the woman said she too was stumped, and offered to send a replacement. I said; no thanks, since that would take 7 days to arrive, and I could return it to Home Depot in 15 minutes. But I hadn't given up yet. I looked over all the hoses and connections for a solution. It got narrowed down to one connection. The faucet wand connector hose has a white quick-release clip on it. I disconnected it from under the sink and then unscrewed it from it's hose connection. The white plastic piece had parts inside, so I unscrewed this part and used a small screwdriver to get out the first two pieces. They were blue one-way flow valve parts, and I wondered if they could be the issue. But there was still one more small piece inside the white plastic housing. I tried to blow air through this housing and could barely get enough air through it to amount to a small fa*t. It was pathetic. Using a chopstick, I pushed it out of the tube. Then I replaced the other two blue one-way flow valve parts, and reassembled it all. Voila. The faucet now works perfectly, like it should have out of the box. There were no visible signs of anything blocking this little part I removed. Nothing at all. This was simply in place to restrict the water flow. Perhaps according to some Federal standard for water conservation. But this was extreme, and if not remedied, would have meant a product return along with a really negative review. As it stands, I give Kohler a huge thumbs up for making the part in a fashion that allowed the buyer to unscrew it and remove the restrictor. I've attached a photo to show you this part I removed. I hope this helps you all in your decision to purchase a new faucet. John

Just installed this faucet and it looks great. The only issue is the faucet stem moves too loosely back and forth and doesn't stay where I put it sometimes. That's why I deducted a star in my rating. Is there an easy way to snug this up so it stays where I put it? Overall I love it, but hope for a solution to the issue.

I too had problem with low water pressure and warm water at best. I could not find the YouTube video that was mentioned in another review of this faucet that showed how to removed the "regulator". After some investigation, determined that in the white plastic nut part of the quick-connect there is a small cream-colored filter/regulator that is causing the problem. It appears that the black O-ring inside of the filter is restricting the water flow. I removed this filter and now the faucet has great pressure and hot water. I have checked for leaks and have not found any. I'm giving this 3-stars due to issue with this filter and no mention of problem on Kohler web site. Also, Kohler should realize that DIY'ers need support on the weekend since this is when most DIY'ers are doing the work.

Thank you for wasting my afternoon
Bought this faucet to install myself. Hedged on buying another Kohler after replacing three in about 8 years but decided to try this one. Wish I hadn't. The ring that's supposed thread entirely up the neck/stem of the unit under the sink DID NOT THREAD. I tried and tried, assuming it was user error, even removing the neck, reversing it to see if it might have been put together improperly. Still didn't work. Went to the store to see if there was a generic piece I could substitute and was told by two people that I got faulty parts with this faucet. The threads simply didn't match so there was no way I'd be able to install it. Ended up buying a D**ta and had it installed in a fraction of the time. Their system is foolproof compared to Kohler's system. I'm a DIYer who has installed several faucets before. This wasn't my first time. Perhaps someone with more knowledge might have figured out the threads were wrong more quickly than I did. Regardless, I'd highly recommend that you check these parts before you bring this faucet home.

                            Great water pressure!
The push button for the sprayer on our 1-year-old builder grade faucet broke, and the water pressure got even worse when that happened, which we didn't think was possible. There was no paperwork on the old faucet, so we don't even know what brand it was or how many gpm it put out. So, we bought this faucet today and installed it. We needed to get adapters that connect the 3/8" male hot/cold lines from the faucet to the 1/2" male connections under the sink, but those adapters and some teflon tape and all works well. We did not install the soap dispenser. The spray on this faucet is in a fan-shape and it is powerful! I'm so excited that I almost want to wash some dishes!

Three weeks and still loving it
I decided to use part of my holiday bonus to buy me a new faucet and decided on this one! I liked the clean, simple lines, the pull-down hose and, especially, the magnet-lock to keep the pull-down sprayer in place. I loved mine so much I sort of accidentally talked my mom into buying the same faucet and installing it the next day! :-) I've had the faucet installed for only about three weeks but I haven't yet seen any leaks or other signs of malfunction of the faucet itself. It makes my sink feel bigger and is way more useful than my standard faucet with fourth-hole sprayer (which leaked). Install was easy; as I've read elsewhere, taking out the old faucet is harder than putting this one in. In my install I used the escutcheon plate and in my mom's install I didn't. I also added plumber's putty to the install to help guard against leaks. The only note I would give to DIYers, when you run water through it for the first time, don't just blast the water on, turn it on slowly. When I turned the line on and then turned the water on to clear the hoses I accidentally had the sprayer perfectly positioned over the divider in my sink and the faucet was turned to the spray-function, so water got everywhere. I did two installs, one day apart, and having a helping hand is easier than flying solo (I know, duh, right?) so if you have someone who can hold things in place while you tighten fittings or hand you tools all the better. But if you don't, don't freak out, it'll just take a smidge longer. Oh, and the spray feature makes a linear fan-shape, not a circular spray pattern. My only concern with this faucet is that when you look under sink it looks like the sprayer hose (the one you attached the weight to) is going to hook the supply line from the wall. It looks this way on both installations I did (mine and my mom's). It hasn't been a problem and I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence that both sinks had similar hose/line adjacencies like this but something to keep an eye on. I know I'm away of it every time I use the pull-down sprayer.

Kolher Barossa Kitchen Faucet best bang for buck
Replaced Moen which was out of date and its cartridge was no longer letting water flow. Moen was very difficult to remove off sink. It took me 2 hours to take Moen off (had to use SawZaw and cut off pieces . Working under sink to remove nuts is horrible. I had Kolher snap on and ready to go in 10 minutes after removing Moen. I remember five years ago it was a long and complicated install. The Kolher allows much more water to stream out than the Moen ever did...about twice a much. And the variable spray control is great. The photo shows that connections are between double single with very little wiggle room but this faucet had no problem tightening base and connecting hoes.

                              Quality, Stile
I have been looking for a faucet like this one for a while. The dimensions were critical for my application because can interfere with the bar counter top. The faucet is beautifully finished in stainless steel, the handle moves very smoothly, water does not drip when its turned off, has a magnetic spray handle so it will perfectly retract into the faucet neck after being used. I did not mount mine with the handle facing left or right, but straight toward the user ( small modification is needed, and the reverse water connections as it's explained in the install manual). The reason I did this is because when you turn the water off, water is dripping from your hands and fall on the base of the faucet, now water fall in the sink. Another reason is now I have the more traditional "left" hot water "right" cold water rather forward - backward which is a bit more confusing. Like always pure KHOLER quality and thanks to Home Depot for bring their products closer to home.

                              Nice!
My husband installed this in a few hours. No problem with the video and printed instructions. It replaced a very old, tarnished, very inexpensive, faucet and we are delighted. Using the 1 handle has taken some getting used to but, we're getting there. Really like it and it shipped quickly, and was packaged well.

                              Kitchen Sink Faucet
Good Style and easy to install. Included hoses. The hose with the sweep spray works great and the head stays in place. We chose not to install the included soap dispenser.

                              Love my new faucet
The faucet looks and performs great. I love the pull down part of the faucet - it helps to clean out the corners of the sink. It also becomes a sprayer when you push the button on the back of the pull down part. I installed my faucet so the the on/off lever was in the front and I think it looks more balanced. I thought that refilling the soap dispenser would be inconvenient, but I just lift off the dispenser pump and refill it without going under the sink.

                              Nice faucet - very pleased
Installed myself in conjunction with new sink. I have installed kitchen faucets before and found this to be the easiest installation ever. Looks fantastic, built solid, yet valve can be operated with fingertip. Spray pattern is powerful. This is SO much more functional than the traditional dedicated sprayer. We waited much too long to upgrade!
