This blind was very easy to install. This is my first try at a cellular shade -- I have always used mini blinds. I love this blind. It blocks out the sun while still letting the light through. I installed it in my kitchen. It goes up and down easily and I like the cordless feature. I don't usually put it up the whole way as I am short and would need a step stool to lower it. I am very pleased with the shade and it was the lowest priced than other retailers.

I went bought both the white and wheat color as I wasn't sure which would be better with my wood window frames. The wheat was MUCH darker in person than in the photos, so I kept the white. Super easy to install. Some of the plastic on the top was chipped a little from the cutting process, but the blinds come with snap-on end caps that completely hide any uneven cuts and give them a very finished look. I put them up in four windows in less than 30 minutes this weekend. Also- great for shallow windows. The product says the recommended window depth is 2". Mine are about 1" and the blinds look great. They stick out about 1/2", but it is not offensive at all and the shade itself sits in the window frame (so only the top bar sticks out). I've only had them up for a few days so I cannot comment on durability, but I'm pleased with them thus far. Got all four for under $150, so a fraction of the price of custom made window treatments.

The Bali shade was a replacement shade for our French door. We had purchased the other ones at Home Depot several years ago. This shade was perfect and fit well. It didn't even have to be cut -to-fit. Let me just say . . .I love to shop at the Home Depot in Carrolllton, GA. It is close to my house and they make me feel good about going in and asking them anything. The people that work there are so nice. Every time I go in there I get exceptional service.

I had a very difficult time getting this shade to snap into the brackets. It meets my expectation for looking like I wanted it to look, but I would not buy it again based on the difficulty of snapping it into the brackets.

Yes you can double these up in a window and they still look great !
I got these with blind faith ( pardon the pun ) that they would look decent in my oversized pop out window. It is 94 inches wide and it's very hard to find something that looks nice to cover the window and I didn't want curtains. I decided to try two of these blinds together on an inside mount and I think they look great ! I couldn't find any reviews or questions and answers regarding putting two together so I had no idea if it would work. As you can see in the pictures, it works great and looks nice. Just make sure you measure correctly and adjust for the size difference of the actual blinds together and you can get a beautiful fit. The blinds themselves are awesome, I had purchased some for my other large windows and was very pleased with the look, the ease of use and the surprising way they keep the cold out. I think that was the most shocking, the temperature difference between the inside of the house and the area in between the window and the blind when the blind was shut, it was at least 20 degrees. They are great light filtering blinds, letting a good amount of light in during the day if you want to keep them shut , yet still private at night. I highly recommend these blinds and I ended up purchasing them for all the 23 windows in my house ! It was not cheap because of the amount of windows, but when I compare the price of these to custom blinds, it's about 1/3 the price and the energy efficiency will pay off in the long run.

I am extremely happy with these blinds
I was pleasantly surprised with these blinds. We have large mid century windows and it was hard to find blinds that fit. These are perfect for this house and for the large windows. They are light weight, easy to use , child safe, look great with our mid modern style ( we are still renovating as you can see by the stool in the picture ) and the best surprise of all is they are super energy efficient. I just wanted something that looked nice and clean and that gave us some privacy and I got more than I expected. you can put your hand in between the window and the blind when it is pulled down and feel the temperature difference between that area and the inside of the house, it's a good 20 degrees in my opinion. They are great light filtering too, if you want to leave them down you still get light during the day yet they still have privacy at night time. I was worried about that so we did a test at night, I had my son go outside and see if he could see in when the lights were on. He could only see a silhouette of me when I was moving around close to the window but when I got 5 ft or more away he couldn't see anything but the light inside the house. The size was just as described and with proper measuring, they fit like a glove inside the window frame. I am very happy with them and everyone who has seen them in my house says " I should get some of those for my house "

Best shades ever!
Received my shades, opened the package and they were packed so well! Very easy to read instructions and installed myself without even using a drill! Had ordered the room darkening shades for all our bedrooms, liked them so well, I ordered the light filtering one for my kitchen! Easy to pull down and easy to push up, no cords or no rods! Looking forward to years with my shades!!

Perfect Fit
Blinds were easy to assemble. Used them in the bedroom and kitchen. Love the way you can just adjust them with NO CORD. Much safer with little ones around. They look just as good as the very expensive ones.

Good quality product.
The blinds are perfect for what we intended to use it for. It is appealing to us because my wife and I both find the separated blinds to be old fashion and unattractive. Also very easy to install. My only negative is that for an item that is 85% paper the price is quiet high. Overall I like the product and would recommend it.

nice blinds but
Two of the blinds were chipped in the cutting process by the company. New end caps would cover the chips and I asked for them to be sent and no response from customer service.

Easy to install, pleasant to look at
The double-hung windows in my home office didn't come with blinds, and I was looking for a product which would insulate and provide privacy while still allowing in some natural light. These stood out as the most versatile and cost-effective product on Home Depot's website, so I bought a pair. I had to get creative with the installation because I didn't have a flat surface on which to mount the brackets, so I measured and cut some plywood planks to fit the 1.2" slot at the top of my window frame, then mounted the planks with wood screws and mounted the brackets thereafter. At that point, it was just a matter of clipping the shades into place. I plan on mounting these in all of the windows in my house. I realize that by mounting the plywood and brackets right in the middle inside the slot at the top of my window frame, I prevent the window from sliding all the way to the top, but that just brings me back to the ease of installation: you can just as easily clip the shades OUT of the brackets if you need to. The only issue is that the shades perhaps allow too much light in at night, but other customers could maybe fix that by going with double-cells. I also have a lamppost right outside my office window, and that doesn't exactly help my situation.

Great cordless shades!
My house has older Bali shades that I purchased in person at Home Depot and had them cut there. They have cords, and after many excellent years of use, the shades need replacement. I ordered new, cut-to-order cordless shades on line from Home Depot and they are wonderful! The header is stylish and with no cord, blends into the window frame, the ability to raise and lower the blind by hand works perfectly, they magically stop just where you want. These cellular shades make a huge difference in my heating bill! Installation was easy and can be done with a screwdriver, but goes quicker with an electric drill.

Just what we needed.
We got these for our French Doors in the kitchen/dining area. With the onset of winter, the sun is lower in the sky, and the light reflecting off the table in the kitchen was blinding and "in our face" when at the table. These solved the problem. Easy to install, easy to operate, and they do the job perfectly.

Love Cordless Bali Cellular
We recently replaced the blind on our front door which is solid glass. I have looked for a while and did not want to order online. I needed a 25 inch blind which is special order. We went to Home Depot and they carry Bali "cut while you wait" Cellular Blinds. We bought the 29 inch and Home Depot cut to 25 inch in a few minutes. We Love It. No cords to worry about with children and pets, efficient, soft high quality fabric. It was the easiest install and only took around 20 minutes. The key is to read the direction for the correct placing of the brackets. Beautiful pushed all the way up or down. So happy with this purchase.

Easy to install and use attractive shade
I replaced a pair of old corded accordion shades in the bathroom with these Bali cordless cellular ones. The price was very reasonable (no more than my old shades), the installation was simple and I love the ease of adjusting the shades to any position using the unobtrusive transparent handle on the bottom rail! I did not use the locking clips on the bottom of the window, because the shade stays wherever you put it. Perhaps these clips could come handy if your window is very drafty. I like these light-filtering shades because they provide privacy but let in daylight and the cellular structure provides more insulation than my old accordion shades. The white of the shade is not too brilliant white and it has off-white top and bottom trim, so I could have used them easily anywhere in the house. No more tangling, stained cords, crooked shades or worrying about child-safety!

Needs a more straight forward program button
I bought these motorized shades about 4 years ago. They work well when they are all set-up. No complaints there. However getting them programmed is a major pain. I have watched every video I could find on the internet, and have read and re-read the instructions. I still have to call and wait on hold during business hours until someone can walk me through programming them. It should not be this hard. Needs an actual button on the blind, you can see and press to program.

    Great experience getting remote setup
We purchased the remote controlled sheer shades from Home Depot and we love them. Unfortunately they weren't pre-programmed from the factory as promised. As a last result we contacted Bali's 1-800 help number, Bingo! William was great! He was patient, kind, and most helpful. He walked us through the entire process. We love our shades Thanks William
