Beautiful handle looks great

Well made door knob hardware - looks great - easy to follow instructions - installed as a replacement (upgraded) bathroom door knob - happy with this purchase.

The doorknob assembled easily.

Door knob is great quality! Heavy knobs but can’t tell once installed. Needed this particular door knob for clearance where a closet door opened into a bathroom door. The push button being on the side shortened the projection of the knob. It is easy to install and would recommend to anyone.

I feel ecstatic every time I touch the door knob. It is a pity HD does not have them in my local store on display. This knob feels much more solid than the "prestige" series. I installed it myself into a new door. Installation was easy and it works flawlessly. Quality, design, and feel of the door knob are supreme.

Not the door knob I expected. I wanted a knob that when the locking mechanism is depressed, and the door is closed, the action of depressing the latch unlocks the door. Such that a child for eg. cannot lock the door then close it. Only the estate series has this function. Not carried by HD.

The set screw holes were not tapped and no set screws were sent in the nob

The product is easy to install, looks great and feel structurally sound in your hand. The look is clean as the locking mechanism is not visible. The only downside is that some people’s do not know to push the button to lock. Actually conducted a doorknob test for my family and this was the winner.

I found it easy to install and it works well and feels like a quality piece of hardware. I would rate it "excellent". (The Overall Rating portion of this review does not work).

Baldwin hardware is the gold standard. I have handsets on coastal homes that are twenty years old - and they look and work like new. The heavy cast hardware is finished to perfection and just feels right in your hand. If you can afford them, never buy anything else.

We installed solid brass Baldwin knobs on our home 14 years ago, and they look new today -- so I ordered "Baldwin Reserve" when we remodeled another house. This is a great example of "you get what you pay for". Solid brass looks, feels and wears like sold brass. The quality of the lock / plunger mechanism and bezel have also been upgraded. If you factor in the cost and hassle of replacing cheap knobs when their plated finish wears and corrodes in 6 to 10 years, vs the 'Lifetime finish' and quality of Baldwin Reserve, you will save money. And they look, feel and work great. Buy one and compare. You won't buy another cheap knob set. I hope this is helpful. Mark
