Problem with instructions for installing this handle set.
This is a very nice handle set. However, there is a problem with the installation instructions. The manufacturers conflate the method for installing the latch and dead bolt strike plates. The instructions are good for the dead bolt but wrong for the latch strike plate. By drilling holes for the latch strike plate the same as for the dead bolt strike plate, the holes for the latch strike plate end up being too big.
I had to chisel out the hole for the latch strike plate and then glue in pieces of wood so that the screws for the latch strike plate could screw into something. The manufacturer needs to amend their instructions so that people do not make this error.
