Our Solid Color Concrete Stain should provide a durable and protective finish. To fix the peeling, I recommend removing any loose coating and etching the bare concrete if it feels smoother than 150 grit sandpaper. Make sure the floor is clean and dry before spot priming the area. Then, touch up the area and apply a thin coat if needed for uniformity. As it turns out, the stain requires a 14-day dry time before it can experience direct tire traffic. However, you can park on top of corrugated cardboard after a 72-hour dry time. The tire marks can be cleaned with soap and water or a concrete cleaner.

Thank you for reviewing Behr 1-Part Epoxy. I'm very sorry to hear about the tire tracks left behind, as that's never what we want our customers to go through.

As it turns out, 1-Part Epoxy requires a 7-day dry time before it can experience direct tire traffic. The tire marks can be removed with soap and water or with a concrete cleaner. The last coat of paint should dry for at least 72 hours before cleaning.

Thank you for reviewing Behr Solid Color Concrete Stain. I'm sorry to hear about the peeling and dirt resistance issues experienced, as it certainly isn't what we want our customers to go through. To fix the peeling issue, I recommend sanding down the loose edges before cleaning and touching-up/recoating. Tough stains can be removed with a concrete cleaner from Home Depot. If the stain is peeling down to bare concrete, the concrete should be etched with something like muriatic acid to increase adhesion. After a new coat is applied, the stain should dry for at least 14 days before direct tire traffic. Cooler weather and higher humidity can sometimes prolong the dry time.
