First of all, this paint is very heavy! I'm a very petite woman and didn't think 5 gallons would be quite that heavy. (You may want to buy it by the gallon unless you are fairly strong!) I have a 100 year old home with an historically wet basement, but the water issues were remediated with the installation of perimeter drainage system and multiple pumps. This paint was applied to simply reduce moisture transfer and to look nicer. I had very stained walls which were well cleaned prior to application, but even just the first coat of this paint completely covered the stains! I still did a second coat and it was much easier to apply. I was impressed that the paint is very low odor. I have asthma and i hate working around smelly paint but this barely was any issue. I am very happy with the final job and it was worth the effort. It dries very quickly as well, maybe partly because i run a dehumidifier in my basement, but in any case that was a plus. I am adding some before/after images of the worst parts of my basement walls.

Nice coverage for bare concrete with 2-coats. Sadly, the pitted walls pretty much ate the thick paint up. Time will tell about the moisture proofing, but my walls are dry to begin with. Nice color options. My basement safety and storage room looks great and more welcoming.

Several years ago I sectioned one half of the basement to build a workshop area. I used this paint on the concrete floor. It worked well to seal the floor as well as to make cleaning the floor easier. I recently decided to refinish the other half the basement and used the same paint. I like the fact that one coat is all that is needed.

The paint was awesome for my situation (sealing a retaining wall). It was quite thick and ended up with a flat finish. There was no seepage through the wall later after a very heavy rain. I removed a star because of the color. The color was such a bright white that I suspect no tint was added to the base color. Will not buy paint again online because of the color issue.

The paint goes on very well. Easy to manage and easy to clean up. Very disappointed in the color, it says POWER gray which actually it should be called wimpy Gray. Other than that the paint did Cover pretty close to the square footage it said it would. I put 2 coats on, I'll have to wait and see how it handles the moisture.

I would recommend this product. Great coverage easy to use . I used it in my furnace room on the floor and it looks great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to paint my basement walls. Applies easily with a roller and looks good. Not quite as thick as Dry-Lok, but, as long as you don't have any cracks or water seepage through the walls, this will do a nice job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely need 2 coats to do the job. The room smells HORRIBLE. I have tried sitting out bowls of vinegar and baking soda to get rid of the odor in addition to opening windows and doors. Nothing is working to get rid of the smell.

Easy to apply, works great... have had no water issues since applying to my basement walls! Saves me so much time with no more water leaking through the block walls of my basement! I highly recommend Behr Dry Plus Masonry Waterproofer for anyone who has water issues!

Wish I knew/ read it wasn’t anti scuff. Had to buy another clear coat to put ontop of it. But overall, happy with the color and quality of the final output.

I would buy this again. I just finished doing my whole basement walls with this. It went into the cracks and sealed them so you can't even see the cracks in the walls. I have an older house so I put it on three times it didn't need three times but I wanted to make sure it was sealed good. It was good on the first application but I wanted to make sure everything was sealed tight.

I Always trust BEHR paint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though this paint is listed under their exterior paints, it is not. Not meant as a foundation exterior membrane or coating as the soil acidity and outside exposure will not do its waterproofing abilities justice. If used indoors on a block or brick foundation and follow the directions it will waterproof. That said when used on block or cement (anything porous) apply 3 coats, period, or it will not get into all of the pores. I would choose Behr's brand waterproofer over the others, other brands add a grain into the paint which causes its early demise when anything rubs against it.. this stuff is a smooth layer when it dries. Tints well also if wanting it to be visible..
