Hi David, thank you for your review, and I am sorry the Dye felt like watered down paint. This product is different than a paint. It's meant to have the pigments with a translucent finish. If this isn't what you were expecting, it may be best to go over it with a solid finish, such as our Solid Color Concrete Stain to get full coverage. The dye is really good on concrete. Easy to...
The dye is really good on concrete. Easy to install and looks permanent. Doesn't seem to wash off at all after dry. I used on a pool bottom and also another color on a garage floor.

colors not as pictured
color is nothing at all as pictured , notice at the bottom colors are digitally enhanced but they didn't digitally enhance my deck

Hello and thank you for your feedback. It sounds like the color didn’t turn out the way you expected. The actual color will depend on what the bare concrete looks like and application techniques, it’s best to test the color in a small area first, to ensure you’re happy with the finish. The best way to fix the color would be to remove the existing dye, etch the surface, and reapply new dye in a test area. If the color matches the color example in the brochure, you can continue applying the dye to the rest of your deck. A customer care representative has reached out to you directly to assist.

I would not recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would not recommend this product.
I followed the directions and steps for prep and application exactly. My concrete patio looked amazing when finished. It was so beautiful. An the places that have stayed in tact are still beautiful. However, this product peels up in little spots here and there leaving white spots on the patio. You have to be very careful not to scrape it with a chair, so I put felt feet on all my patio furniture. But still in random spots it will just peels up for no reason - no traffic, no furniture, nothing to make it peel. The smallest spot is just a spec size but the largest is a couple of inches across.
This was a very expensive project since I dyed about 900 square feet of patio. I just hope I can somehow repair the areas that have peeled.
