The Avery mobile cart is very useful for extra storage it gives me so im using mine in my closet to hold handbags, purses & jewelry. It has the Cam Lock system that only requires you using a screwdriver & rubber mallet but we used an electric screwdriver for attaching the wheels and back panel. Go slow on the assembly on this cart cos its not as easy as it looks due to it having a lot of pieces, the manual is very helpful and precise but if you take a wrong step its tricky undoing the cam locks -we did that and it was time consuming. I recommend 2 people putting this together. The wheels lock so you can safely have this as a free-standing cart almost anywhere in the home. The help i got from the Home Decorators Collection customer service guy (Shannon) was astounding when i was unsure of a step. Its is made out of MDF board so its not solid wood but its okay for storing things in like crafts, paperwork etc. It has 2 drawers that you pull out ( wish it had side sliders) & reach into and the 2 doors are magnetized. Cubbies can also be used with cloth bins. It gives me extra storage space so its fine.

I was excited to put this cart in our family room. We are always looking for more storage options for our kids toys and art supplies. However, once this was assembled, it became very clear that keeping it in a room near our kids would be extremely unsafe. While this piece does come with an anti-tip bracket, it would make the "cart" feature completely useless. Although the caster wheels included are very sturdy, their placement on the piece makes it extremely unstable. Just one tap from my husband during assembly and the whole unit tipped over. A huge concern for a family with kids. We immediately made the decision to remove the wheels for any hopes of stability and will be securing it with an anti-tip bracket. Additionally, the instructions were unclear. If you've ever assembled MDF furniture before, you'll be fine assembling without instructions. I like the doors on the center of the unit--perfect for hiding clutter and so necessary if you have kids! The drawers, however, have no rails or hardware included. They just sort of sit on the shelf--not terribly practical. My major concerns for this piece are safety. It surely will not function as a cart in any safe manner. Skip installing the wheels, be sure you install the no tip bracket, and you should have a nice piece of storage furniture. I would not recommend using this in a room where kids are unattended. Stick to an adults-only or an adults supervised space.

The quality, feel and machining precision was noted immediately upon opening the package and throughout assembly. Every part aligned easily, correctly and sturdily. A lot of thought went into providing easy flexibility of desired levels of shelving placements, The casters are of excellent quality, roll and change direction easily and the locking mechanism is sound. Overall finish and predicted longevity are better than most similar carts.

The Avery 6 cube mobile cart is very easy to place in whatever setting your home requires. It is very attractive in black and made of a good quality material. The parts fit together very well and was easy to put together. When completed it is now a part of my living room where I can place my electronics to hide them from view around my television. It's a very nice design, easy to use, and is very sturdy. The directions were easy to follow in it's construction. You will love this addition to your home. Highly recommend.

This is probably one of the nicest "build it yourself" pieces of furniture we've ever put together. The instructions are clear and the wood pieces are very high quality... no splitting particle board or peeling laminate edges. Basically all we needed to assemble this was a mallet and a screwdriver. Very well made, looks very nice. Was a little smaller than I anticipated, but the measurements given were accurate, so that was my misunderstanding. Very attractive piece of furniture and I love the locking wheels so it can be moved as needed to clean, etc.

This piece is exactly what we needed for organization in our kitchen. My only criticism is that the wheels- although cool- make the piece very unstable. We ended up replacing the wheels with metal legs. This made the piece far more stable. There is a strap to fasten the organizer to the wall but that defeats the purpose of the wheels.

We had just converted an attic space with a bathroom/bedroom and needed removable storage for the bathroom linen closet (in order to access mechanicals). The wheels make it easily removable and the size is perfect. We use it to hold linens, cleaning supplies and grooming items. The sea glass color is lovely and matches our decor. I liked it so much that I've ordered a second one for the main living area.

Using for office; lots of storage. Very sturdy and well constructed. Easy to assemble (I did it myself) but takes a bit of time however it is well worth it! Will be purchasing a second one. Very happy w/this product!

Exactly the right size for the available space. One piece came misidentified which led to disassembling the cabinet and starting over. The "drawers" are just bins that fit into the shelves. Simple styling would be easy to work into many rooms.

I ordered this new piece for my office and while I love the look of it, the piece had a horrible chemical odor when I opened the box to assemble it and the odor has lasted for several weeks. It is improving slowly as I try to leave the windows in my office open as much as possible to 'air it out' but it is very, very strong in the beginning and doesn't go away quickly!

I bought this in seaglass for my home office. I like the look and the quality is good. Just know that the assembly will take an hour or two and you will probably need a drill. The holes for the wheels were not deep enough to start a screw and the holes for the back panels were not even marked. I had to hold up the panels and mark them and start a hole with a drill and then screw them in and even then they didn't have the best fit. OK for me since it is going against a wall. I would also agree that it is a little wobbly.

This is a beautiful cabinet. The main reason I gave it 4 hearts - it's a bit wobbly on the wheels. I live in an apartment & I can't drill holes to attach the cabinet to the wall. Other than that, I like it. I love that it holds the fabric cubbies perfectly!

I purchased this piece for our laundry room because we don't have a mudroom. It was easy but time consuming to put together. It is very good quality! I left the back off of it so we could use the cubbies for charging phones/ipads, etc. We love it!
