My wife and I used these in our new hardwood first floor and they work well. They generally adhere well to most or our wood furniture. We haven't had any pads come loose from our table chairs, which we move regularly. On stationary furniture, they seem to hold up well, with a good overall toughness and appropriate thickness. They did not stick well to our TV tray tables due to the non-flat nature of the legs. We had to buy more from the store because we used so many of them (and there aren't a ton in the package).

We recently replaced carpeting in all but our bedrooms with hardwood flooring. These felt pads apply easily and are great for furniture that will move routinely like kitchen chairs, as well as protecting the floor with heavier pieces of furniture. It also makes moving these heavier pieces much easier for cleaning, etc. Get several packages so you always have some available.

This product performs well on furniture that is not moved. On chairs or tables that are moved they tend to shift and sometimes come off. Just keep an eye out for this to happen and re-apply another one.

The pads I bought were for my christmas tree stand I built. The pads went on easy and stayed on even while I moved the stand around on my new hardwood floor to put the decorations on the tree.
