Very nice glass doors! Not too fancy. My husband installed it within 45 to 50 minutes-only needling my assistance to hold it in place while he tightened the screws. I wasn’t surprised that the doors were a little darker than the advertised photos having read all the previous reviews. The glass is also dark and not “clear” as advertised. I thought about spray painting it prior to installation but thought meh-close enough; however, that is an option for those that want a more “brass” finish. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend!

Color not as advertised.
They call this color brass. It’s almost black it’s so dark. Time to return it.

Georgeous Looking fireplace door
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased from a Big Box Store and was sent to the store in less than a week!....and this was during the Holiday Season. Absolutely beautiful-looking antique brass fireplace door. Compliments the surrounding brick perfectly. Very sturdy. Came with a 'riser' if need (which we did) to add height to the doors so they covered the hole in it's entirety. Comes with plenty of packing insulation for the insides. Had it installed in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommended because of appearance, ease of installation and quality.

The fireplace screen installation instructions were easy to...
The fireplace screen installation instructions were easy to follow. The glass doors and screen doors close very smoothly and locked tightly with magnetic strips. The bifold glass doors are so much easier to clean than the accordion style glass doors on other models.

No where did it say you could not operate the...
No where did it say you could not operate the fireplace with the doors closed. That defeated the purpose in our case. Your ad shows a fire going and the doors CLOSED. Not until we were ready to install did we see the warning on the first page - DO NOT OPERATE WITH THE DOORS CLOSED. You need to change the picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had to return it!

Pleasant Hearth Ashlyn glass fireplace doors
I was disappointed in my glass fireplace doors from Home Depot. The color antique brass advertised on the app was not the correct color in delivery. The color is a dark brown color.

Easy to install (helps to have two people). It looks nice. My main difficulty is that the gaps between the glass doors and the frame let lots of cold air in. It's like having a partially open window on an icy day.

Glass fireplace screen
I bought this glass fireplace screen six weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. It looks nice in the fireplace opening as part of an antique mantel and has greatly increased the energy efficiency of the room in which it was installed. Installation was easy, and all of the parts seem well made. It is good value for the money spent on it.
