This hamper came with all the parts labeled well with easy to read directions. I did have to substitute longer screws to hold the side panels onto the front for the barrel, but other than that it was smooth sailing and about 1/2 hour of work or so. I am not sure why several others who have bought these on other sites have had such a hard time. The cam locks aren't the best when attaching the top and rails, but they do work. Overall it is a pretty decent piece for the money I spent on it.

This looks great, but assembly, with a carpenter, took more than an hour. $50 to have it put it together. Some parts did not have pre-drilled holes, although indicated on the instructions. It had several scratches when opened, but I could not find a stain at HD to match. The light oak they sell is not a match for this cabinet. I would have expected a polyurethane coating to protect the wood, but no. You can scratch it with a fingernail, so anything you put on top of it will leave a mark. I found this out when I put a lamp on the top and moved it without picking it up, so now that has to be repaired. Some screw locks would not hold, so the top is not secured to the base as it strongly as it should be. We had to glue joints and clamp where no glue was called for in the instructions to provide stability. I have no idea what people who rated this product were thinking, but this is not $199. By the time you put it together, you will be spending a lot more in labor. I bought this to match the vanity, which went together smoothly. But I am no longer buying any Artisan furniture. In fact, I bought three of these, two for nightstands for the style, but they are going back. This item is for the birds: cheap, cheap cheap. And much of it is partical board, which everyone knows should not be used in a bathroom as it absorbs moisture like a sponge and will eventually fall apart.

Product is as described. One of the parts did arrive broken and had to be glued together, other than that it's a solid product.

I enjoy the use of the piece, it doesn't look like dirty clothes it is a nice piece of furniture that no one would think was a hamper. I looks like a hall cabinet. Very Nice!!

We bought this hamper to go in our small laundry room. It fits beautifully, and the drawer is a great feature for those odds and ends. The tilt out works very smoothly. I wish the linen liner that comes with it were deeper, but it still holds laundry for both my husband and I, including towels, etc. It arrived on time. The only thing we noticed were two very small scratches at the very end of a side panel - not enough to notice once assembled. We got it on sale - all in all a great value.
