The distressed wood color is black. Installation is easy. However, the travelers hang up at the splice with does not line up exactly, creating the issue. We sanded the edges and used a black sharpie to touch it up. Not as smooth traveling as I would like but it did improve somewhat.

the hooks get caught at the splice because the connection is not seamless. it’s incredibly frustrating because i have to get a ladder and move the hooks past the splice by hand. i gave the product 2 stars because the rod looks great but it traverse function is poor.

Poor product
The joint where the two rod pieces join together is not a tight fit. Once installed, the track has a gap in it where the guides hang up when opening and closing drape.
