We choose this light because we felt like the shade would blend well with the ceiling. Originally we put up the LED version of this light but decided it was too bright and white. The LED had an intergrated light so you are stuck with the hue, so we ordered the small fluorescent lights. We ended up with neutral bulbs and love the look of the light.

very nice light fixture
we use it as a bathroom fixture above the sinks (not mounted on the ceiling) and it looks very attractive and provides very good light.

Product Is defective. The fixture was installed and the light worked one time.the next time it did not come on. Checked all the connections which were good.I ordered a new fixture and will return this one as soon as the Electrician can install the new fixture.

Poor Ballast
Purchased 3 of these light fixtures back in October 2019 for my finished basement. Lamps give off nice light and shades are very attractive. One of the fixtures stopped working Oct 2022, just before warranty expired. I purchased 2 replacement T5 bulbs, but bulbs did not light. They just flicker momentarily and shut off. It appears the ballast is defective. I tried to purchase the ballast but nobody has it. I was unable to place a claim for the 3 year warranty because I could not find my Home Depot receipt. Now I must repurchase the same unit as I need all 3 fixtures to match.

We used this light to replace our corroded vanity light. It is neat and clean and certainly brightens the room.

This light fixture looks good once all installed. The light cover was so warped it was almost impossible to put it on with the 6 swivel mounts. The light is annoying when you turn on the light switch and it takes about 3 seconds for the light to actually come on.

          Not impressed
This light looks nice. I installed in my kitchen 4 years ago. Mine takes 3 t5 46" bulbs. Changed them today only to discover that it's not the $10 bulbs that were bad, it is that 2 of the 3 receptacles are not functioning. I recall paying $50 for this light fixture 4 years ago also. Maybe the price increase is due to the dollar losing value daily. I will choose a t8 fixture or led next time. The t5 bulbs are poorly protected in the store and some were broken on the shelf. What a joke

            Last only 6
These just don't last--the manufacturer claims 3 years. Mine have lasted about 6 months. They are used in a Lithonia Arctic Glacial 2-tube fixture. I wonder if the fixture somehow runs hot and blows out the bulbs.

Love the appearance of my lights. Just be sure to buy the correct tubes for them.
I used fender bolts to make sure I was adequately covered with my screws. probable more than needed

            Not Instant-on fixture
I just installed this fixture in a finished basement room, and found that it is not an instant-on fixture. There is a noticeable delay (1-2 seconds) between flicking the light switch and getting light. I installed this with Westinghouse T5 bulbs. I cannot say whether it is the bulbs or the fixture that causes the delay.

A short life on the ballest
The light worked great for 18 months and then no lights. Traced problem to the ballast, which is apparently a problem that other users have experienced. Would not purchase again.

              nice light fixture
easy to install but the built in clips to hold the lens cover on are not very secure. Actually the lens was installed and clips closed and the lens fell off and broke. I was able to install but placed the broken corner in the least noticed side.

              bright and clean looking
Nice bright light-- wish the electrician would have installed it more squarely but looks great and good true light for the walk in closet. I like the finish on light cover--wish I had put it in the large bathroom as well.

Replaced older light with ARCTIC GLACIER 2-LIGHT FLUSH-MOUNT CEILING WHITE FLUORESCENT LIGHT. It was easy to install and gives great lighting.

excellent product... brings the light, and is nice looking
I bought this to brighten up a kitchen sink area, to replace a 50 year old single bulb buildre's fixture... looks good and does the job... I recommend it.

              Looks nice but doesn't last
Installed this fixture as a closet light in Oct 2013. On 12-30-13 it stopped working. Both bulbs have dark bands on the ends. Considering that these T5 bulbs are very expensive this is horrible bulb life.

              I give it 4.46 Stars
Least ugly interior fluorescent light out there and excellent value. This is a subtle light which is the effect we wanted...frosted globe (albeit acrylic) distributes light very well and you can't see the bulbs (unless you mismatch the Kelvin Color of bulbs and even then would have to look for it.). We wanted a light that wouldn't draw your eye but if it did, it would be noticeably ugly. This fits the bill! Amount of this light appears to be a little better than T12 that we replaced and it's more efficient (56W vs. 80W for twin tubes. Not sure if triple tube would be worth it unless you really need the extra lumens. It's cheap quality--mine was bent and the plastic ends seem can easily come apart. Definitely not for a shop or unfinished basement. Globe looks like it could scratch the frosting easily but does look pretty elegant and hope it doesn't discolor after a few years. Flush mounted and low profile and rated for "damp" conditions for bathrooms (except no shower spray allowed...that requires "wet" rated light. Oh BTW, Do Not use this light on a GFCI circuit as it will cause the breaker to trip! T5 lights are a bit expensive although a little more efficient too than T8 but the industry is heading toward T5 so they may come down in the future. Not sure if it's dimmable.
