For the price, the quality of the hanging pendant exceeded my expectations. I love the ambiance it gives. I was able to hide about 80% of the cord. It looks good where I have it hanging in my living room. Way to go Home Depot.

A lil bent but just plastic, sincerely needed atthe moment or would have returned.

I use this to house a plant light over my bedroom plants that are in a North facing room. Works perfectly to give a more chic aesthetic. Would recommend!

I need it polite over my dining room table and there was no fixture in the ceiling above it. My design style is mid-century modern this pendant light suits perfectly. I could not have asked for a better light at such an affordable price! I am very impressed!

This is a nice and inexpensive solution to my lighting problem. I thought the description said the shade was frosted glass rather than the plastic made to look like frosted glass it is, but I shouldn't have been surprised considering the price. Nice long clear cord (not white) and the in-line off/on switch is a nice touch.

Looking for a way to add overhead lighting to a room without a light switch and ceiling box. Want to avoid the expense and time involved in cutting holes in the ceiling and wall for electrical boxes and running wiring to switch and light. This brushed steel pendant light is a nice and simple way to achieve lighting over a small table in a sun room, etc. especially if you decide you may want to move the light in the near future. Plug this hanging light into a receptacle, run cord up wall and across ceiling to the location you need the light. Hang the light with hardware included. Light is easily turned on with integrated switch on cord near plug. I connected my light to a receptacle that is controlled by a wall switch in a small spare room for lighting above a desk. The only negative thing about this pendant light is the white plastic shade makes this light look cheaper compared to the nice brushed metal look of the base of light. The shade should be a better quality ( shade was warped when took it out of box )

This portable plug-in pendant lamp is very useful in that you can move it from room to room wherever you need some extra light. The lamp is not at all heavy; the socket cap is made from lightweight brushed steel and the shade itself is just plastic, but at about 1/8 inch thick still quite sturdy, although the plastic is somewhat bendable as well. The shade on my lamp is a bit misshapen, not perfectly round, but it doesn't bother me. The lamp itself is 8.5 inches high and 11 inches in diameter. It comes with a 15 feet long clear plastic electrical cord that has an on/off switch close to the plug, and it has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) so it will only fit in a polarized outlet. The long cord definitely gives you greater option as to where to create extra light. It is super easy to put this lamp together; you just unscrew the socket ring, put the socket through the opening at the top of the shade and screw the socket ring back on inside the shade to tighten it to the socket. You do have to provide your own lightbulb, but it takes an E26/A19 60 Watt bulb. This pendant lamp also comes with two metal hooks and plastic clamps through which to thread the cord so that it can be hung up. In order to do so, you would either have to drill holes (it also comes with those plastic "thingies" that you put in the drilled holes so the hooks don't fall out), or the hooks can probably also be hand-screwed into softer wood without having to drill. Alternatively, if you plan on using this lamp in different rooms and you can't or don't want to have hooks everywhere, I think you can probably also hang it off a curtain rod or other stable surface.

The product was what we need for our mud room. Installation was very easy and fit the decor perfectly. We are very pleased with it.

The plastic shade is a bit warped but I didn't expect much for the price. I needed something to replace a broken light until I can decide on a permanent replacement. It's ok but don't expect perfection.

Poorly package and constructed.

Works perfect, and fits our needs, will be purchasing another one soon.

Just love it, the right thing and the right light

I bought this to hang onto a metal ceiling. It works great and is light enough to be held up by my magnet. The cord is long enough and has a clear cover on the wires making it less noticeable.

Nice looking, just the right size for over my art and craft table. It focuses good light to work on my projects and provides diffuse light for the rest of the room.

The shade isn’t actually cut evenly on the item I received, so it’s visibly asymmetrical. Not the most attractive, but certainly functional. I guess to be expected given the price.

I absolutely love it. I had a light hanging in place for 40 years. This replaced it (after the old on fell apart) great. What was really great was it had an inline of on switch that served my needs perfectly
